If you've already paid I'd say you're grand, I think it was sent to everyone regardless of if theyve paid or not :)

So I rang the fees and grants office to find out if I could pay by cheque during Orientation because my parents are really weird and don't want me doing it online... They said I could but I just got an email saying you can only pay online :/ anyone else still paying in person??

I paid by cheque in person last year, should be fine.

Went to town for UCD Black Monday a few days ago. Spent 60 squid :( Don't know how, but I'm not happy about it. Gotta be a bit more frugal for freshers week!

    !
    Whats that been like?

Honestly, it is amazing. I am coming home reluctantly next year to further my education.

I teach history in a private high school and live very comfortably doing so. Unemployment in Ireland really got me down. Coming here was the best move I ever made.

    Bu...bu...but Anonymity!!!! :(

Haha nah I'm not trying all that hard to keep my identity hidden, I'm sure anyone who bothers could figure it out. Sure pretty much everyone else has outed themselves in the Maynooth Boards facebook group. I'm just not ready for that kind of commitment yet.

To get access to campus internet do you have to be registered, or do you get it when you get access to your apartment?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,167 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

I would imagine that you will be given a cable to connect your computer to the internet in there.

To access the internet on campus, you need your student number and password which you'll get at registration, as far as I remember. If you already have these details then you're good to go I think! :)
