Wow she is 44, still sexy but can't believe that. Makes me feel old having had a crush on her in Friends :o
Irelands world cup adventure didn't even leave the station but Brady and Dunphy keep kicking each others sandcastles over.

Quote of the week goes to Eamonn Dunphy. According to him, the footballing game is in decline in germany. Close second being that Del Bosque is on €50k p/w wage, when hes actually on €1.5m p/w.

never change RTE punditry, never change.

Love the fact they get flooded with tweets. With Liam being pure childish & Dunphy's I just came down from bed demeanor even then its miles more entertaining than ITV & BBC. I'd add BT & Sky to that too.

I really wished I pre-ordered GTA BEFORE I went on holidays. It appears to be sold out on pre-orders alone in Dublin! D'oh!

Never got into the GTA games. Used to have GTA 2 installed on my old PC while at college and when I was meant to be doing reports, I would start it up and just go down to the bottom right, get the tank and start a Kill Frenzy.

But for the later ones, I have them all, through sales, but have tried playing. Think the one that made me lose interest was either 3 or Vice City where had to fly a remote controlled helicopter through a multi storey car park and if failed would end up going way back across town. So got fed up of having to constantly drive back. Started another game and never went back.

Though I just finished Lego City Undercover on Wii U last night so it made me think about trying GTA again.

Thank God I decided to pre-order GTA V, don't think I've ever been looking to a game like I am now.

I get the feeling you'll not be impressed with the new ones if the older ones did nothing for you. My favourite so far is actually GTA IV w/Nico Bellic, which is generally poo-poo'ed on the internet. Only protagonist I've played that is actually likable/not a scumbag! Especially with 360/PS3 tech I thought it was vastly improved over PS2 entries in gameplay. Watch the review, see if it whets your whistle.

I'm excited but not as excited as when I was 17 and San Andreas was released. I'll either pick it up tonight or tomorrow, spend a few hours playing it, and that'll be it. Don't really have the same interest in games any more unless it's Football Manager on PC. Feeling old :(

Ya gotta mix it up, glen! Try out a new genre you haven't tried before or haven't in a while. I get motion sickness easy with FPS games but I stuck it out to play Bioshock Infinite, highly recommend (not the motion sickness!). Journey (PS3) a videogame representation of "moods" if that makes any kind of sense! Shadowrun (PC) is a 6-8 hour tech-noir/fantasy turn-based combat game...The new Splinter Cell Blacklist got great reviews, you can do stealth or come in like Rambo. Next on my list is "Gone Home" (PC) a 2-hour first-person point & click interactive story. Tons of variety, lots of different experiences :)

Dying with a cold at the minute but going to eat a bit of my Brother's birthday cake. I thought I got a nice good slice but I have to share it with my dog. There is a little window into her life if ever there was one. :o

Wow, just wow. Played GTA for a good 3 hours. Already drove round the island which seemed to take forever, killed a load of people as you do, shot a deer, robbed a plane, and fell to my death from a few thousand feet. The game has everything!

    INSTALL QUICKER!

Just picked it up. Can't wait. Studying the blueprint map, and can't wait to explore :P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,647 ✭✭✭glenjamin

Not really a spoiler but there's a dinosaur on the right hand side of the map that comes with the case. Don't know what that's all about.

I loved San Andreas and I was disappointed that GTAIV took a step back in things like planes, diving under the water, tractors, and such, but GTAV has brought them back with a bang. I hopped on a freight train and just rode round the map on it for a good half hour.

I fell in love with the game when in the first 20 minutes, I took a detour off road and ended up in a massive storm drain with cops chasing me. Brilliant.

Just found out there's no automatic parachutes when you bail from blimps.....found that out the hard way :P

Stupid neighbour keeps leaving his blinds open most nights so he can see how is coming and going in the estate. He sits in the place so he is facing the window.

I have one of them at my spot now. I'm rarely back before 10 so I miss his "one man neighbourhood watch scheme" routine but the other guys hate him. Our spot is very studenty though so I guess come Rag Week he feels like a God.

Be careful what you wish for lads my neighbours consist mainly of Clare smarks, alcoholics, single mothers & a guy who just destroyed his cars engine with green diesel.
