Are all the other jockeys in the 7.20 at Sligo going to get bans apart from the winner so? Didn't that happen on the flat a while back to the amatuers.

    That was absolutely shocking

Bought 2 packs of toffeepops for my tea.

Just read that Colm O Donoghue has left Coolmore & moved to Hong Kong to give it a go for 6 months. Maybe old news but I just stumbled upon it in a copy of the racing post that I was about to dump out.

Hope it works out for him.

Never heard that good luck to him, was wondering where he was though Mick Hussey is getting some nice rides for them now

keep an eye out for fahys horses at York this week. he hasn't really set the season alight so far compared to the last few seasons but he normally pulls a few out of the bag for this York meeting.

Chelsea very lucky tonight. Ref was more concerned about Jose than doing making the tough calls.

When's the bloody flat over? **** me its boring

Roll on Super Sunday in Tipp. The week after I'm doing the annual trip to Limerick to visit a friend. Usually descends into a ridiculous drinking session interspersed with conversations about making tea with Ellen Martin's knickers.

Then the Munster national on the Sunday

couldn't agree more about the flat racing, I much prefer the jumps. roll on October! to be fair, I have actually done quite well from a gambling point of view this flat season, but I still prefer national hunt by a country mile, or a country 3 mile chase:)

I average about 3 bets a year on the flat.

Rainy Sunday afternoons in Navan, a maiden hurdle kicking things off around 12.30.

    Now that's living!

1.73 Southampton & still shortening. Don't like swimming against a tide that strong but they're surely way too short now.

Will look at either laying them or getting with Sunderland via the Asians

Rooney and Willian in for Chelsea. :D

Mata on his way out?

The top 6 teams are going to buy at least 12 players between them!

    Should be interesting!

Came back to work on Tuesday after a fortnight off, to find 197 emails requiring my attention. Just dealt with the last of them now. Fcking delighted. Time for a much less stressful day and then the weekend!! Might even get to have a bet at York today, been too bloody busy to even look at the cards the last few days

As you may have guessed my weekend revolves around Southampton v Sunderland

Pinnicle are 1.676 Southampton and were laying Sunderland & the draw at higher than the Betfair back prices last night.

2.07 Sunderland +0.75 might be my play. Pity I didn't just take the 11/10 ****ing Southampton on Sunday!

Think i might invest a bob or two on the hammers drawing away to newcastle.we have a decent record at st james park, but newcastle will be licking their wounds after the man city debacle, a draw looks the bet.maybe the colonel will oblige me and check the price? I,m in work watching porn..ahem...i mean working!

Man U v Chelsea will have a real edge this w/e. I would fancy Chelsea/Murinho to throw everything at it & win. Moyes first big test. If he comes through this, then he'll get great confidence & probably kick on. If Utd lose, I can see a bit of fireworks as the transfer window closes (further push for Baines/Fellani etc) with Rooney rattling his cot trying to get out of Old Trafford. All great fun really.

I think you called it right first time but i know youve missed the price. Southampton win.

Would be mad for you to have a bet at all especially if you're changing your mind.
