I used to roll the windows up and lock the door of the car when passing Kilbeggan due to the fear

Don't take it to heart, I have 4 and have often seen the dread in the eyes of some poor ba****d when we rock up looking for grub. They see all the sweetness and light disappearing from their evening. We're not that bad but occasionally someone will go bats**t. Happened last night, was stressed of my head leaving the resturaunt.

Bringing kids for dinner is a disaster most of the time with us . Keeping a two yr old quiet is no joke if the service is slow and they seem to grate on my nerves worse in public when I cant let a proper shout at them and boy do they play on it !

ah i always leave my wellies at the door:D seriously this is not a mega busy spot, and cow ****e would be the least of their problems, i'd say twice i have gone in there in dirty clothes

oh, i know it, eldest lad had a very bad stomach, we where in a posh restaraunt one night and he started coughing, everything he ate for the day came up, we where there with our hands trying to catch it, toilets where occupied, havent been back there:o

Sure that will happen to people as they get older as well. Once upon a time I was so drunk I got sick on a Norwegian person in Temple Bar. I said sorry and ran from the scene in humiliation.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,786 ✭✭✭✭whelan1

:D:D ah normally they are 100% especially when kids are there... normally bring laptop and youngest is occupied, after he cleaned the table he never gave us a menu or nothing , he knew we where there:) anyways we where better off where we went, kids all got free cones and yellow snacks with their meals

Just after hearing what happened and who it was, he was a very nice man.
Deepest sympathy to his family and friends

The brother rang yeterday evening to see if he could borrow my bull float . Whe he came to collect it then he asked if I would float bit of concrete for him in . I went with him to see what he was at out of curiosity because he hates shovel work usually .
A gang of them had chipped in and concreted a slab of concrete in the middle of a bog especially for doing doughnuts and wheelspins on :O
I gave it a quick run of the float and left them to it , they were sculling cans goodo and the bonfire was being lit by then .
I suppose it might keep them from messing on the roads at night

Worked flat out for the last 4 days. Great feeling when you close the gate, silage in and all slurry out. Going to put the feet up today and watch the match.
