PS1 is an odd one as it's middling between retro and new. After the nerd, I'd recommend GameSack (16-bit), Rinry (her old stuff is great). GameTrailers Pop-Fiction is a great series on gaming legends and Easter eggs. And their Retrospectives on gaming franchises are amazing. Keith Apicary's stuff is really hilarious thatd be my first port of call, but its generally all old SEGA games. That'll get ya started anyway!
I know PS1 is kind of on the verge of being retro was just wondering if someone maybe thought of giivng it a go now. Ill check them out sure. In of those old game moods. Feel like playing Civilization for no particular reason as well.

I like it especially what he says remembering it but he seems more focused on reviewing the game than having a little fun with it. Lets face it no one is actually watching these for reviews your not going to check out reviews of PS1 and before games before you buy them. I like it though. Been checking out loads of the retro games reviews most of the games ive never played but its fun seeing them.

Yup, I have it set at 40, the max allowed. Go into User CP, down to Edit Options, and in the Thread Display Options section, you can change it.

    My prediction is

Tommy will start to come out of his coma with some memory loss and Nidge will be saying that it was Darren that attacked him . Fran will agree with him and with the fact Darren is dead no will find out.

Then near the end of the series Tommy will get his memory back or flashbacks of the attack then remember it was Nidge that attacked him and then kill him

Hope they dont kill off Fran he is a great character

I'll never forgive myself for skipping my assassination attempt of Mumfords in favour of watching Galway get hammered by Sligo. I was within a 5 minute walk too.

    Watching the Knightmare remake

It's not very good. And that's coming from a 32 year old who used to watch it on Children's ITV and watches it on Challenge

One of my friends got me watching that (the original). It's funny watching the kids make terrible decisions, I think my favourite was a rhyme telling the kids to go right. Immediately, they take the left door, and freak out when a bomb kills the adventurer.

Well they always have trouble telling left from right
"Take a side step to your right." Steps left. Dies.
And some of those riddles are pretty hard about druids and all

It wasn't the adventurer that decided on left though, it was the three guides that told them left. Aye, some of the riddles were difficult enough all right.

You could have been a hero, but you gave immortality up for GAA.

The one team I didn't want to get to the Final.

It was like the Irish derby of two total sickener counties.

I'm not a Cork fan, but I'm just happy Dublin won't get a double. That would have been bloody insufferable.

    FYP. ;)

I found it a very enjoyable game despite the result. My casual viewing habits have tended to extend just to football matches over the years and I've never given hurling much of a look, but the efforts of this Dublin hurling team have shown me what a great sport it actually is. Definitely need to get down to Croke Park next season and give these lads a bit of support.

Well done to Cork. I think it was the right result in the end.

Its on netflix right after it airs which is awesome, this is the type that would make people stop torrenting.
