what was wrong with her foot,

No idea, she jumped out through the barrier of the shed so it's not broken anyway:pac:

Think she turned on her knee on the hard ground. Waiting on the AI man here so might try to get her in again rather than hitting stones with the hurley here.

The fishing bag is very useful, I bought one for the farm years back at lambing time to use as a kind of medicine/emergency bag. Fishing vest looks handy too.

That's not a bad idea Conmaicne! But what makes a fishing T-shirt different

AI man didn't have ERE so used KJB instead, he's a test bull. Looks good on paper and he has good breeding behind him. Put him on a PB LM sired by Navarin and with Ulysse in her dam.
    Here's his ICBF
    http://herdplus.icbf.com/bull-search/view/animalId/841131512.

Also discovered that our AI man is almost exactly twice my age, his birthday is tomorrow!

The smart phone is easy for me anyhow . Take the pics with the phone , then when you are posting something you will see" add attachment " at the bottom of the box . Hit that and it will let you pick photos from the gallery on the phone .

300kg yearling heifer with coccidiosis. She is weakest in the group anyway.

Girl in office says its rife at the moment.

Feckin typical, we're heading off for a few nights in the morning. Never fails :(

No unfortunately not. Find the factory handier with work. I actually castrated all ram lambs this year as I got caught with ram lambs last year that no body wanted. Will be on holidays in a coupe of weeks though and will go to mart ten. Have a few hoggets to sell and a few ewes to buy as well.

Got the cheque today. Average 98.45 per head. Only paid to 21kg dead weight.Good few over 22.5kg. One great lamb was 24kg. Would have been a great butchers lamb.

Happy enough but need to keep on top of drafting the, to get them off at the right weights.

educate me, what would the KO% be for lambs? Like would they be around 40kg liveweight? No sheep here so not a clue!

Between 44-50 percent. I actually wrote down the live weight of a few. Must match their tags with the kill out rate and give you the actual percent tomorrow.
