    Hi,

    Thanks for reading.

I'm currently working on a PC game, and looking for a volunteer to do a voice over for the introduction sometime in the next few weeks. The introduction consists of a number of still images with text that runs to about 600 words.

I have been working on it for 9 months now. It should be complete in 2-3 more.

The protagonist of the story is a male security operative. Ideally, I'm looking for an Irish accent and a strong voice. Sorry if this excludes anyone, but anything else will call for sections of the story to be re-written.

All I can offer by way of payment is a mention in the credits, a copy of the game (when it's complete) and my thanks. Experience isn't necessary, but you've got to have a good voice.

Send me a PM if interested. If you have a sample of voice acting you can link me to, that would be even better! Looking forward to hearing from you.

We are a team of media students in DCU working on our final thesis which takes the form of an mobile murder-mystery game were the player wanders around Dublin trying to catch a serial killer.

We are looking for actors to play a number of parts in the production and would appreciate it if you could pass this on to any interested parties. The work involved would include some short video work, some audio/voice over work and some photography work. We would only ask for a day of the participant's time for the majority of these roles.

Unfortunately, as this is a student project we cannot afford to compensate any actors but we will feed them and give them full credit for their work. We will also edit and send each actor all of the video, audio and images that they are involved in so that they can use them for their own portfolio.

The casting call can be found at this link: https://docs.google.com/a/mail.dcu.ie/document/d/1XJMNvAeBcGWLLDsY3-sk87Om-UBTsfaDfZqJEDvyMxw/edit

Anyone interested can contact us at the email address in the link. We're looking to audition within the next two weeks.

We are putting on an show in the Trailer Park at the Electric Picnic, last weekend in August, and are looking for 3 actors.

Its an interactive theatre production, the stage being the trailer and the garden outside; the audience invited to join the party, and muck in like any good wedding guest. Earl, a country and western cover singer and Darlene, a hairdresser and beautician, have been dating for three months after meeting in the local honky tonk. Candy, a Hooters waitress, is Darlene’s daughter from a long forgotten relationship. The comedy chronicles a big weekend in all their lives as Earl and Darlene are getting married. As you’d expect from good ol’ Southern hospitality it is an open house, or trailer, for the weekend

Earl, male, playing age range 25 - 35.
Earl, the groom, is a country and western cover singer so needs to be able to sing and play guitar.

Darlene, the bride, female, playing age range 30 - 45.

Candy, female, playing age range, 18 - 25.

There are 6 short shows over the weekend, but actors would be asked to improvise some scenes between shows.

We are on impossibly small budget and at this stage can only commit to paying a per diem expenses rate. Obviously actors get free passes to the Picnic, none of the shows will clash with the headline acts, but we would ask that actors remain relatively sober throughout!

Earth based band 'Alien Envoy' are casting both male & female roles to star in their next music video for the track 'Sunny'.
Alien Envoy is a musical collaboration led by musician & film-maker Nick Kelly (ex The Fat Lady Sings) & 'Sunny' will be the 2nd single to be released from their forthcoming album 'LOADS'.

    Video Concept:

The idea is to film a person - actually a series of people playing one person at different ages in their life - running along a sunlit riverbank & ending up at the end of a pier/lighthouse.
As the characters run, they get older. At various points they are joined by one or more runners of the same age (representing various friends & partners through their lives) who join them on the run.
As they get older, and they get closer to the lighthouse at the end of the pier, the day is waning and their last companion falls away.
Old, tired and alone they approach the lighthouse - we see a small figure waiting for them, a child of eight who greets them as they finish their journey. This child then sets off gamely to begin their own epic run.
All cast members will be required to wear timeless white singlets/vests, white shorts, white socks & trainers which will be provided if needed.

    Requirements:

Female- We need 5 female 'runners' for this video.
Details- Actresses need to have Blonde hair with Blue eyes and be within one of the following age brackets: 6-9, 13-16, 22-30, 40-50 and 65-70.

Male- We need 3 male 'runners' for this video.
Details- Actors need to have Brown/Dark hair with grey/green coloured eyes and be within one of the following age brackets: 22-30, 40-50 & 65-70.

As this video is capturing both people on their journey through life at different ages, the female cast & also the male cast, obviously have to look as similar as possible. So if anyone who is applying has members of their family that look similar & fit into one of the ages brackets then we would very much appreciate applications from multiple family members. Also people will be required to run for this video shoot so some athletic ability would be an advantage although it's not necessary.

Please note: This is a micro-budget music video for an independent band, so unfortunately we are unable to pay cast members. However, it goes without saying that everyone will be credited for their work & you will also receive 2 tickets to a private launch party for the release of the Alien Envoy album LOADS where the band will perform live & we also hope to screen the video. Filming will be commencing before the end of July and each cast member will be needed for 2-3 hours.

To apply please email your details along with your head-shot/show-reel link to: sunnyshoot2014@gmail.com

I'm part of a team making a short drama film for college(4th year), and we need three male actors to play key roles in the film:
    1. A young man, aged 20 or so
    2. His father
    3. His grandfather
We are also looking for extras (of any age (18+), gender, shape or size!)
If you would like to take part, or know anyone who would fit the bill, we'd really appreciate your participation. No previous experience required, just an aptitude for character acting. We can honour you with credits and our undying gratitude!
Filming will probably be in November, and since it's a ten-minute short, the shooting shouldn't take too long. For more details see our info pack for actors available here : https://shortfilmechoes.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/echoes-info-pack-for-actors.pdf
Let me know if you are interested - there'll be a role for anyone who wants to take part.
    Thanks in advance :D

We're inviting performers and those who have never ever performed before to be part of a new theatre project by Makeshift Ensemble, a Cork based theatre company to be presented as part of the 2016 Cork Midsummer Festival. If you are originally from Congo, Belgium, Colombia/Peru, UK, Ireland you should come talk to us!

We are seeking people with strong opinions or none whatsoever, people with a passion for history, human -or even animal- rights activists, people who saw the world or never left this port!

We're looking for a mix of people with some relation to the sea with or without a performing background, people who have something to say, people interested in trying themselves in theatre and people who are just curious and looking for a new adventure.

We will bring together a group who are potentially very different, but have these things in common:

    1.) LIVE IN CORK
2.) ORIGINALLY FROM: IRELAND, UK, BELGIUM, CONGO OR PERU/COLOMBIA
3.) HAVE A CONNECTION TO THE SEA

If you're one of those people or you're just curious about the idea, then e-mail us.

As well as seeking performers we are also looking for people to help us with our research for the production, developed through conversations with people around their opinions on different matters. So if you are interested in meeting us on this basis please also get in touch.

To arrange a time for an initial informal interview on the weekend of the 13th – 15th November OR 20st – 22nd November 2015 send us your details (including place of birth, age, email, phone number) to eszter(at)makeshiftensemble.com with "Utopia Ltd" in the subject line.

Hey guys! We're a group of 4th year students in IT Tralee. As part of our FYP, we'll be making a pilot episode of a sitcom about two down-on-their luck musicians trying to make it big in small-town Kerry. We'll be auditioning for four main roles:

BRIAN (mid-twenties) - Brian has had more than his fair share of failure. With his stubborn determination, he's certain to lead the Brian and Ryan Band to fame and glory. Or so he thinks.

RYAN (late teens/early twenties) - Ryan met Brian just two months ago. Now, he's found himself roped in to beig in Brian's band. Quick to anger, Brian's attempts to tell him what to do often frustate Ryan.

[a basic level of singing/acoustic guitar playing is desired for both the roles of Brian and Ryan, but not absolutely essential.]

TOM(Late twenties/early thirties) - Tom is an educated man who's fallen on hard times. A long time friend of Brian, he turned to alcohol after a particularly messy break up. He now lives on Brian's couch and subsits of crisps and cans of lager.

DEBBIE(late teens/early twenties) - Debbie spends most of her time cloistered in her room, communicating mainly through passive agressive sticky notes left around the house. Her profession remains a myster- neither Brian, Ryan or Tom has ever seen her down at the social. When their paths do cross, she rarely has kind words for them.

The exact date/location of the auditions are TBC, but we expect it will be early December somewhere in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Anyone hoping to audition should be aware that we will be filming for an unspecified ammount of time in February/March, so some fluidity with scheduling around that time would be benefcial. Unfortunately we can't afford to pay anyone, but we will be able to cover travel expenses during filming.

If you'd like to audition, message us on facebook.com/StrungSitcom or email oscar.brophy@students.ittralee.ie with:

    - Your name
    - The role(s) you are interested in
    - Contact info
    - A short bio
    - A headshot.

    Thank's for reading!
