I could take or leave Tom Dunne, but I'd still prefer him to P Kenny any day of the week.
For me the best of them all by a country mile is ............. Sean Moncrieff.

Does anyone know how to get their Beef Carcass report from ICBF.

The herd is registered with them but the only report I can find when I log in is the beef slaughter report and the EBI report.

Do I have to request a carcass report or make it myself or what?

Anyone get SFP/DA clawback letters for overclaiming land areas? According to the press, there are quite a few people who received them demanding repayment and if they don't repay, it will be docked from future payments.

Well its simple, my advise to anyone is appeal it, the muppets that digitise the maps for the Dept are contracted in, separate GIS company, they have absolute no knowledge of farming or land. Hold your ground lads, cause the worst that will happen, is some dosie inspector landing out claiming mileage trying to read a map and a form. They're very easy to deal with, as in discussions!! Not the brightest stars in the sky lets just say!!

Appeal it, and see how long your payment will be delayed. 6-8 months min I'd say.

    Hi Bog,

Didn't get one myself but an old boy brought one to me to look at for E10 for 2009 !!

From what I read of it though they will deduct 3% interest for period of time that its not paid so I'd nearly if a small clawback just pay it and be done

Good enough tractor if it is all manual.

Only thing with them is they are a little light on the rear end.

had one for 5 years with rossmore loader, good tractor never had any probs but clutch was gone when we traded her

Well auld lad went and bought her, got someone to have a look round her and reckoned she seemed tight enough. First new tractor to our place as long as I can remember, replacing a 4600 if anyone wants to buy one!

Dying with the cold now, hope it goes soon calving just starting to hit full swing about 70 calved now, new parlour up and running so all seems to be well.
