    Joe knows damn well we'll never re-introduce teh death penalty, yet he persists in drawing Jimmy out on the subject.

    I have every sympathy for any parent whose child has been taken in this manner, but his desire for revenge on every murderer is o-t-t., Birmingham Six should have thought everyone that lesson.

    No problem with longer sentencing, which is something most would go with, especially when we see killers walking out of jail after seven years.

    But death-penalty......just not going to happen.

    That's yet another difference between Joe and PK. Pat wouldn't let someone ramble on like that for 10 minutes.....Joe would keep winding them up 'til Christmas.

    Over the years there has been any number of callers like this woman and the first caller about their children and mental illness, there seems to be no answer to their problems, Its seems that mental illness treatments have not advanced one iota in the past 30 years...
