Was there a Boards.ie when we signed Ole?

Can you imagine the meltdown when we signed an unknown Norwegian striker instead of Batigol or Romario or whoever.....

dont recall "meltdowns" a few weeks back when we signed Varela, so less of the crap please. United can sign 20 unknown norweigan strikers, defenders and full backs for all i care, as long as we sign the world class central midfielders we need also.

Zaha is so exciting when he gets on the ball!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

Zaha is going to be savage!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,346 ✭✭✭✭homerjay2005

the rawness of Zaha genuinly excites me...its been a while since we have seen one of our wingers take on a man with sheer pace and manage to get a decent cross in.

Pitch looks much better today thankfully, though still is poor.

Why play our main midfielder..

Because he won't be our main midfielder for much longer. ;)

Glad to see Welbeck still has the touch of a paedophile.

Danny Welbecks first touch on a crap pitch. This will be beautiful

his willingness, work ethic and drive is unreal. hopefully Welbeck, Young, Nani and Valencia will take note and use this to motivate themselves.

as it stands, Zaha could be in line to start the Charity Shield on Sunday week.

if we dont get anybody, would expect this.

    De Gea

    Rafael Vidic Rio Evra

    Zaha Carrick Cleverly Kagawa Young

    RVP

That pitch is a disgrace. Asking for trouble with injuries on it. Am I right in saying Spurs and City have played on it recently too? Was it this bad and how did they fair injury wise?

was worse - City and Spurs lost a player each to injury I think.

    Honestly I could see it being more like;

    DDG
    Rafael Vidic Rio Evra
    Carrick Anderson
    Zaha Kagawa Young
    RVP

I would love to see Zaha starting though.

Think both Nastasic and Vertonghen got injured.

It was awful, they had some injuries, Spurs had their own groundsman over trying to do something with it.

    Andy Mitten ‏@AndyMitten

Anderson thriving back on the sand. Loves beach (& BBQ) football. Get the Old Trafford pitch back to how it was in '89 and he'll be fine.

    :D
