So myself and my DOP and editor Albi Sheridan went to India this January and shot this little film about kite looting called Lootera

Heist Take Two is a feature film project I've submitted to the Arthur Guinness Projects. If we get enough votes we're in with a real chance of getting some money to develop the project and make it a reality.

So with two or three clicks you could really really help an independent film get off the ground.

Thanks. It's early stages yet but every vote gives us a bit of a boost into getting us up to the judging stage of the scheme. So it's a 'vote early vote often' situtation.

I shot the vid on a canon 550D using the 50mm f1.8 lens, and aTamron AF 10-24mm lens. I also used a Hague stabiliser for some of the shots. Hope ye enjoy it :pac:

My video has been included in the final 20 shortlisted for the Jameson Empire Done in 60 seconds competition (UK). At this stage we just need the help of the voting public so I'm trying to garner support from some fellow Boardsies! About the video and us:

We're based in the University of Limerick doing Engineering but have made a number of videos together.

For this video we remade Brokeback Mountain, with an added twist of the love affair being between a man and his bear. The video quality unfortunately had to suffer as we had to meet fairly tight restrictions on file sizes imposed by the competition rules.

The first thing I'd say is - cut out that opening sequence.

Your film is only 15 minutes long and it's 44 seconds before it actually starts.

In feature film terms that's the equivalent of Goodfellas having a 7 minutes title sequence at the start.

Throw up the title and then get straight to the film.

Unless you've got a big name in the film stick all the credits at the end.

I shot a short film over the summer based on words by James Altucher's Blog about happiness.

The film was shot in Cork city, and it stars the wonderful Inma Pavon. She lives in Cork, but comes from Spain - hence the reason the dialogue is in Spanish.

The soundtrack of the film: 'Nuages Sombre' is by the very talented Greg Clifford. The track title is in Spanish as it happens, but this is merely a happy coincidence!

You can click on captions in Youtube to see the subtitles. The Vimeo version of the film has subtitles burned in. There may be an English version of this film coming your way at some stage in the future, but for now it's only available in the original Spanish.
I wanted to make a series of inspiring films. The first in that series was Prison (http://vimeo.com/55317591 ). Felicidad is the second in the series. I hope ye enjoy it.
