    Hope to go live.... real soon....

    Well done Michael196 and Wexford Wheelers lads for getting this together. Clubs putting on races, 2-days at that deserve respect for sourcing sponsors and the huge volunteer manpower required, not to mention the element of financial risk.

    Will keep an eye out for the online entry as I am well up for this.

    Items outside our control are causing delay for our online pre -entry, however Monday 1 July we will open entries for the Wexford Wheelers 2 day.

    The Wexford 2 day was Last run in 1992 !


    After further consultation with the Race Director, stage 3 is moderated to 110 : or three laps of the 37 K circuit.




    Here is the blurb :

    The Wexford Wheelers 2 day returns in 2013 after an absence of 21 years from the Cycling Ireland calander.

    Entries are expected to open online on Monday 1 July.

    Link will be posted Via Wexford Wheelers.com


    On Line Bookings will be managed by the event company Precision Timing.

    3 stage Races are in preparation catering for Categories A2, A3 and A4

    Stage 1 is a 60 K ( A4) or 80 K (A2/A3) using the Frank o Rourke Circuit.

    Stage 2 is a 4 km hill TT to the top of Concorde from Larkins Cross.

    Stage 3 is an 80K ( A4 ) and a 110K A2/A3.

    In addition, an Under 16 Race will occur on the Frank O Rourke Circuit on the Saturday. On Line entry will be used.

    Electronic timing chips will be in use, in addition to camera monitors at the finish, in order to determine finishes.

    The event will occur on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of August, with Race HQ at the Maldron Hotel and the race starts based at Camross Hall.

    Super stuff,shame about stage 3 not been 148km,really looking forward to it anyway,great stuff on putting the race on too

    Reckon you might appreciate a shorter 110 on stage 3, on the day. Will reassess for future events.

    Meanwhile u should be getting ready for the team time trial or the Taghmon Roubaix.

    Well done on putting together this event Michael its gonna be a cracker! Is entry online only or can you sign on on the day? My work situation is a bit unpredictable and I would hate to miss it as I only live down the road.

    Entered A4. This will be my first 2 day event. :eek:

    It comes a week after my hols and I expect to suffer like a dog but at least I'll have a tan.

    Can't wait.
