BT Sports is the final straw in my time as a Sky subscriber. Internet is too handy for TV shows and I end up pub for most matches. Might be the kick up the arse to start going to more Connacht matches.

Do birthdays suck as you get older?

Diabhal as a Galway man you well like this. Under ten hurling team where down in Tipp on Saturday played four matches, won all four. Only team from Galway.

None of the teams scored against our team. They are that good

They don't suck, they just don't seem as important anymore.

Its got Serie A & UFC for me but its just fúcking too expensive. I doubt Sky want another phone call from me littered with foul language.

Delighted for ya cena. I know you put a lot of work into your club. Was probably better quality than what I watched yesterday in Laois yesterday. A long month of nerves ahead of us Galway GAA heads.

Thanks. I'm not the manager of the team but I help train them etc. great bunch of lads. There is word that the club could be getting some award for all the work that has been put into the hurling club.

I don't follow the gaa. It is not what I'm really into. I do it more for the kids.

Good man Cena. Imagine one of those lads could lift Liam Mc Cathy some day. What a buzz that would be.

Any of them free for the Leinster Final in a few weeks? Big Joe can't do it on his own all the time. :pac:

The brother has it as well. But he watches the same repeats over and over etc, friends, the middle and modern family. It's wasted on him. Better giving it to us.

    Websters dictionary defines it as:
1 : a doctrine that the useful is the good and that the determining consideration of right conduct should be the usefulness of its consequences ; specifically : a theory that the aim of action should be the largest possible balance of pleasure over pain or the greatest happiness of the greatest number 2 : utilitarian character, spirit, or quality

So I suppose it means socks as presents? :o

Holy wow liz, 20k posts? You should have your username in gold or something by now!

Lol, sure :) u-til-i-tar-ian, useful (rather than fun). So getting stuff you'd use day to day, like getting a set of steak knives or a car repair kit, as opposed to I dunno, a giant Batman statue ;)

Does Ronnie Whelan actually hate football and everything about it? I've never seen him say anything positive.

Microsoft have done a 180 on the DRM stuff for the X1. Hopefully that'll be the end of most of the moaning...

Even as a Liverpool fan I have to hold my hand up and say he's a right whingey prick. Still better than Lawro.
Christ add Houghtan, Hansen and Nicol you have a few stinkers of pundits. Not fond of Souness either but I do rate Didi or Dee-Dee as Bill called him.
Thats great to hear TSC, hope they drop the price too.

Still getting the superior console though i.e. the PS4.

less of that please. I get enough of it on FB/Twitter!

Very happy to hear they flip-flopped on their bad decision. Their lack of communication between departments and decisions regarding the Xbone has been pretty embarrassing! Now all I need is to play it with the Kinect left unplugged and we'll be in the pink.

    Nope kinect still mandatory.

They should change the name to xbox 180! :D

Ahh now, dont be so serious, it was only banter. Id like to think we're all adults here and aren't super sensitive.

damn it wont be such an easy choice come christmas time now!

Ill actually have to research and make a pro's and con's list and look at the exclusives for each console now. Must be embarrassing for M$ to have to backtrack on their "future of gaming" policies though.
Microsoft have done a 180 on the DRM stuff for the X1. Hopefully that'll be the end of most of the moaning...

So legitimate concerns and anger with a consoles DRM policies, which have now been rectified, is moaning?...

Xbox 180 is a hilarious name. They deserve teasing after the incredibly arrogant statements made about the Xbone. Besides the price-tag it really comes down to Xbone/PS4 exclusives. Which games are you most looking forward to? (and lemme know if this pic is out of date)

I actually laughed at the MS 8th Gen exclusive :P As it stands for me, I'm still heavily on the PS4 side of things.

Whats swaying me to PS4 still, is primarily PS+ free games, and also because the PS4 is more powerful, and if this gen is any indication, it will have the far better exclusives. Will wait and see if xbox can rival PS+.
