Seriously can't wait for the next season now. Top three clubs have new managers, United for the first time in over 20 years. Return of Jose. Everton new manager as well. Bale, Rooney, Ronaldo all possibly on the move (though wouldn't be surprised if there's no changes there).

And it's only the first week of June! Building up to be a fascinating 12 months of football.

Sadly Suarez looks the most likely big name player to move at present. I just can't see Madrid splurging on Bale, he just costs too much considering they do need to get a striker too.
Glad you didn't bring up Hollaway, he's fun until about October then he comes across as a sad clown who hides his faults with hit and miss soundbites.

I'd be more surprised if Suarez didn't go somewhere else to be honest.

£34 mil for fernandinho to city apparently.

Although £34million is very expensive for a 28 year old, Fernandinho's class and he'll improve that City midfield. Two good signings they've made so far.

City looking very strong again already.

I'm amazf that teams pay 35m for guys like Fernandinho, Willian and yet they barely ever make the Brazil squad.
I remember the Top 10 most expensive player list not long ago having Crespo, Buffon, Zidane, Vieri, Figo etc now i'd say a fair amount of players eclipse them in the fee department but not the talent one.

Everyone knows the likes of City, Chelsea, Monaco and PSG have more money than sense and can name their price. The same players could have gone to teams two or three places lower down the league and not gone for half the transfer fee...

Yeah James Rodriguez is a very good young player but 45m is way ott. But how much with 3rd parties, agents and signing on fees do they end up costing. Arshavin is meant to be leaving Arsenal for nothing, good to get the leech off the books bar THEM 4 goals he did nothing of note for them.

Was having a mooch in PC World at the weekend and was drawn towards maybe picking up a few new programmes for the MacBook. Half thinking of making a website for my dad. Are the likes of MacFlux or other "make a website" software the works or are they pure sh*t.

The 34m is just his buy out clause. The actual price they agreed on is around 22m I think.

City made a balls of last Summer's transfers and they ended uo winning nothing. Looks like this Summer they're not f*cking about. Buying quality players in the positions they are weak who are at or approaching their peak.

I used Wix to create a website for a project in college and thought it was great. It's free, has plenty of templates, easy to edit and does all the coding. The 1 drawback of it is that the website you create has a "created by wix.com" banner at the end of the page.

Was always more impressed by Willian than Fernandinho TBH from the CL matches I watched with Shaktar featuring. City are really going all out for 3rd place in their CL group.

So the new voice of Snake in Metal Gear Solid is
    Kiefer Sutherland
? If we had to lose Hayter, I'm pretty happy with the replacement...

    Or Christian Bale ha

He'd have to do it all in the Batman voice, god it is awful.
Speaking of the new Snake I heard him on rte the last night voicing a film Dragonlance, it was beyond bad 80's saturday morning cartoon drawings and a script written by a sexually frustrated teenager who read the synopsis on the back of the Lord of the Rings book. I still watched it though, Xena did a voice in it too.

I saw that on another night. Thought with the time it was on and the fact the animation was about the level of Heavy Metal that it would at least contain loads of violence and swearing but nope. Didn't watch past about 5 mins then saw the next day online that it got bad reviews and was pg.

So how often will Snake say "Damn it!"

I can legally drink in the US, and that's good enough for me :D

This might be the hottest week there's ever been in Ireland. I'd spontaneously combust if I was sitting my Leaving. The school I went to had pubs across the road so if you were doing your Junior Cert all you'd see is the past students getting ****faced cursing at the people sitting by the windows.

    Anyone watching Britain's Got Talent?

During one performance, one of the string quartet backing preformers stood up and started throwing eggs at Simon Cowell :pac:

I remember being 18 and going to the US and trying to drink, oh man that was a knock back down to earth.

edit: yeah, I never really got why they are so strict about it, especially considering Canada is, for the most part anyway, 18's.

I realised it wasn't your birthday lol. Surprising some things they've been able to uphold, like carding and age of consent.
