    15 wides. Forget about it.

You'd worry for that Waterford defense

Backs are grand. 10-15 we are sh*te. Scored two from play second half. Forget it.

I doubt Cody was biting his fingernails watching that anyway.

At least the qualifiers will give the two teams a good chance to whip the **** out of the Antrims and Offalys of the world. If we got Waterford in the Quarters I'd still be ****ting a Brick Walsh. KK and Tipp are ahead of the rest.

Can only see a KK win again this year tbh. Depressing.

They're the greatest team I've ever witnessed in any sport. Sick of them winning but respect them a lot.

Anybody here ever go properly abroad for a football match? Half thinking Munich for Oktoberfest but probably would have to book hotels and stuff a lot earlier than heading to Spain or getting stabbed in Italy.

I can imagine seeing Diabhal in Florence running away from Ultras wearing his Roberto Baggio Galway jersey, seriously though Italy is fine to visit cause my brother goes there 3/4 times a year, but his job sorts out the tickets etc for him.
Germany seems to be such a approachable league to go watch, with the cheap tickets. Why wouldn't you go watch a prem game, just wondering?

I'm actually considering moving there for a while around Aug/Sept

Only reason I wouldn't head over for a prem match is because it's not as much of a trip. No language barriers, no massive cultural differences and if the match is ****e it kinda ruins the trip. I gone over for Birmingham and Sunderland matches before too so it's been done in my book.

I've always wanted to head over to Europe for a match. Was looking into Bayern tickets but it seems as though they sellout really early in the Summer. Hoping the fixture list comes out soonish because it'd be amazing to head over around Oktoberfest. Dortmund, Marseille, PSG, Barca, Real and AC Milan are the leading options so far. Gonna have to save up a bit though.

Been to the Bernebeu and Camp Nou myself. Would highly recommend both cites for a weekend. Watch your pockets in Barcelona though, place is crawling with thieves.

I'm well prepared in the way of the common thief. Shur I've been to Limerick loadsa times.

An absolute scorcher. Got a tan just from being stuck in traffic.

    Well, Xbox One pre-ordered.

Apparently, local gamestop is doing a thing that if you pre-pay for it well in advance, you're guaranteed one on launch day. Do me grand :)

They didn't know how much it'll end up. It was a €20 deposit and you can start topping up whenever, but the final price hasn't been announced yet.

Amazon have it £600 but I'd be amazed if it actually is that much at final release...

Its so hot today i'd to put sunscreen on my Dogs belly, she got Sunburnt a few years ago and was like a wasp with it.

Can't wait for E3 next week.
MS are up first at 5:30pm next Monday, then Ubisoft at 9, EA at 11, Sony at 2am and finally the Nintendo Direct next Tuesday at 3pm. Konami are showing MGSV thursday too, oh and the new Deus Ex is being revealed tomorrow.
Phew thats gonna be a lot of trailers and bullet point rundowns to get through.

Suntan on the dog's belly and getting burnt sitting in traffic. Things like that make me love being Irish. :pac:

Yeah I was sickened too. Hummed and hawed about going a while back but I had sold myself the fact that getting off work would be hassle. When I read about it again last night I face-palmed that I hadn't realised it was on a bank holiday.

Imagine if someone told you 18 months ago the Liverpool, United and Everton managers were going to be Rodgers, Moyes and Martinez. You'd have laughed them out if the room.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,996 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Seriously can't wait for the next season now. Top three clubs have new managers, United for the first time in over 20 years. Return of Jose. Everton new manager as well. Bale, Rooney, Ronaldo all possibly on the move (though wouldn't be surprised if there's no changes there).

And it's only the first week of June! Building up to be a fascinating 12 months of football.

Wenger must be wondering what the hell happened.

He's too busy getting his head round the possibility of getting a decent striker next season :P
