    I would go with salter brand over WW anyways. I had the use of a WW one and found it varied depending on how charged the battery was.

    I would go for a mechanical salter one myself.

    Sorry to hijack your thread, but how accurate would something like that be for calculating Body fat?

    Terrible, I only cop on now that both were analysers, if there is another salter at the same price it has probably got a better weighing mechanism as they are having to build in the fat analyser (really an ohmmeter measuring resistance of you body and taking a wild guess as to your fat content). They are notoriously inaccurate, you can get a cheap calipers to monitor it. Or get a decent mirror and take photos of yourself to track fat loss, which will otherwise go unnoticed as you see yourself so much.

    the bmi and water etc bit is of no use to me, i just need a digital scales that tells me my weight in kg and lbs so i have and idea on what division il be going in for in different comps as im only a few kgs off between divisions. ie i can go for the -71kg or -75 kg etc so if i weight 72.6kgs i can drop down 1.6kg etc

    I have a salter scales for close to 6 years now they are very good
