Free to good homes, old 80's and 90's technical data books. Too useful to just throw in the bin.
One book per person free, if you want more than one then a fiver for each extra one. I will post pictures of them later when I get home.
    Collection only from Knocklyon Dublin.

I have been asked to try and trace a 1950 approx. Ford Anglia, it is Green, the Reg. No. is ZE 7241. It is believed to be in Co. Clare, but I have record of it, nor do I recall seeing it at any rallies in Co. Clare. The man trying to trace it is a nephew of the original owner. The Dept. of Transport have no details of the current owner. Can anyone help. :):)

Any NCT? And how is the tax free?

Any NCT? And how is the tax free?

The car is from 1981 - it's registered as a vintage car and thus it's virtually tax free (OK, it does pay €50/yr in tax) and is NCT exempt.

It's not NCT exempt, that's a common misconception. Any car registered after 1/1/1980 must have an NCT. Nice car though.

    50 bhp increase with carbs?

That's what my mechanic told me. He's a Porsche specialist and has a fleet of 924s so I took him at his word. I haven't measured it. I also haven't driven other 924s so I could not compare. However it does pack quite a punch.

@Diegodelizia - did you put your car through the NCT? If so, what did it fail on? Is your car even on Irish plates?

A passenger electric window not working won't fail the NCT BTW. If you want it fixed, I found a Porsche recycler in the USA who shipped me a motor for my 928 window for about €70 landed :)

You are not helping your ad by claiming the 175BHP in the ad title. If I'm diplomatic, this is a figment of the imagination of your mechanic ;)
