Thanks to you and everyone else for the help and advice during the process, safe to say without this thread I'd have given up on acquiring it.
I'd have ended up asking relatives in the UK to get involved as I wouldn't have found out about Flubit. It's no problem, we're all making use out of it one way or the other. :)

I ordered my 16GB Nexus 4 on the 15th and I'll be a bit annoyed if it hasn't shipped on or before Friday (as I was told it would be).

Turns out... I'm a bit annoyed. Grrr! :)

I suppose the ETA Monday night or Tuesday morning. Have Parcel Force got your tracking info up yet (use your DIR number from the UTI tracking that you got from Flubit)?

Sorry, I've only had a chance to reply now. Went onto parcel force there and it seems that at 22.41 on Friday it was in GLS, so that ETA looks good! Probably the Tuesday. I'd better go and organise the SIM for it now....the last piece of the puzzle. My case and screen covers have been teasing me :D

For anyone waiting to hear back about the 16gb model, if you want to use my order as a point of reference, I ordered on the 8th of this month and it eventually kicked into gear on Thursday or so!

I cut my sim myself, its really quite easy if you're thinking of going that route. Quicker and less hassle than porting.
There's loads of templates to print off online, all you need then is sharp scissors and a nail file, less than 5 minute job.
I'd probably recommend practising on a spare unused card if you have one purely for confidence purposes.

Might do that actually! I won't be able to work today knowing the phone is close by.....so I may as well channel my energy into that ;)

    EDIT: Parcel Force says:
29-04-2013 07:19 Belfast Central Depot Loaded to vehicle for delivery

So how does one go about ordering this from flubit? I've gone on the site but they've assumed I'm in America.

Do they deliver straight to my address or use the parcel motel? I'm in Clare.

never encountered the America thing but flubit only operate in the UK (and officially Ireland via parcel motel added recently) and from what I see all orders are done through flubit.com regardless of location.
You need to paste the URL of the product page from google's website into flubit to generate the demand. (You'll probably need to use tunnelbear or similar to get to see the purchase page on UK google play store, thats what I did).
You must use parcel motel, so use their address.

After hearing about me getting the N4 using flubit, I've now had two requests from friends to purchase them a Nexus 10 16gb using the same method, so it starts all over again for me :D
Anyone here ordered or recieved a N10 recently? Is the demand (and shipping times) better than the N4?

Cheers. I'm working in IT with the servers hosted abroad at various places in the world at different times so that's probably why. I'm better off ordering at home anyways.

I've created the demand, so just a waiting game now until then I guess.

What do you do with the parcel motel? Just post it to there and then collect it yourself from there or can it be posted to any address?

When you register with them, you nominate your closest pm. You give flubit the pm address in Belfast. Once the phone arrives in Belfast it's then forwarded to your nominated pm. You then receive a text once it arrives & you have 48 hours to collect it.

When signing up you pick the parcel motel locker location nearest to you, you get the package sent to their Northern Ireland address and then they will drop it down to the locker location you have chosen, they will email/text you when its there and you've 48 hours to pick it up anytime that suits you.

Oh there's one in Galway, that's handy. I thought it was just Dublin tbh.

So when I buy the phone from Flubit, I say the Belfast parcel motel as my address, and when I register with the Parcel Motel, I say Galway one. So when the phone arrives in Belfast, it will automatically be posted to the parcel motel in Galway? Is that it?

How do they know that my order is coming in & where to send it to?

When you sign up you'll be given a PMID unique to you, you need to put this in the delivery address after your name and before the depot address. Then Parcel Motel use this to connect the parcel to your account.

Ah, so like the PMID (Parcel Motel ID?) is like a unique address you give, so when the Parcel Motel in Belfast get your delivery (cos you sent the phone there through Flubit) get it, they send it to your 'unique address' which is actually the local Parcel Motel, PMID?

I think I get it now!

The parcel motel website explains the process quite well. it's free to sign up and check it out.

This evening I should get replacement device-they didn't do any problems to send it to PM address.
I ring to TNT tomorrow to arange colection faulty Nexus.
Did you ring to TNT in Ireland or UK? Also did you get confirmation from google that your package was received and your money was back on your bank account?

I'm just asking because if TNT shouldnt collect our faulty phones from ROI it could be problem to deliver them to service in Poland and get your money back...

I ordered the 16GB Nexus 4 on the 15th April.

Contacted Flubit/Fireworks on the 3rd working day for a status update. I was told it would be dispatched on or before Friday 26th.

I contacted them again yesterday (29th) when it missed that date and the order was dispatched late last night.

So 10 working days from purchase until dispatch in this instance.

Staff are pleasant to deal with over the phone. They say Google have had some delays in dispatching their orders due to high demand of the product.

    Whats the ordering process here?
Considering the thread is called "Nexus 4 ordering process" and goes on for 204 pages without any *clear indication.

There is a sticky, outlining the ordering process when going directly to Google's UK Play store. Perhaps this thread title should be altered.

    "Nexus 4 Ordering: Discussion"?

Got the email with a tracking number link - number is not yet active (should be active within 24 hours).

    Mail looked something like this:
Just to let you know your order has been dispatched and attached is the tracking number

    [Tracking number link was here]

This tracking number will be live in the next 24 hours.

The order will be delivered in the next 3 - 5 days.

Should you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me

    Best regards

    David
