Definitely staged, reminded me of the soccer shower arranging fights before matches years ago

I laughed at the fella trying to throw a bike, which was locked to the rails :D

Fairplay to the doormen, who immediately closed they bar shutters as soon as it kicked off.

Also fairplay to the garda keeping 20 of them at bay on his own :pac:

I'd be very interested to know if any arrests were made. I think about 20 mins in they all come back to have another go at the guards, a pair of whom manage to drag one to the ground, however I didn't see if he was arrested/put into a garda vehicle or not.

Hooligans from two opposition Austrian sides apparently.

Didn't look like anyone was arrested outside the pub anyway, but fair play to the three Gardai for holding the group back til re-enforcements arrived.

    Get back!!

There was a large extra Garda presence at Lansdowne Road the night of the match too which is unusual. There were vans full of them in riot gear. I also saw Austrian Police around the stadium so it looked like they were expecting some trouble. I don't think anything happened around the stadium though

The guys running from the Fitzsimmons direction were also guards.

That Temple Bar camera is quite interesting now; groups of people are arriving now looking for places to be open at midnight but none of them will be. Should be good!

Thats hilarious :pac: people see the light on upstairs in the pub and think its going to open.

Two Gardaí were patrolling and got stopped and asked if anywhere was open. I know Fibber Magees is open as of midnight but apparently it's the only place.

I passed two today that were open and serving.

They were not however pubs you would ever finding yourself wanting to go to.
