Ok cheers, were you able to track the package to parcel motel using the tracking number google gave you upon shipment though?

The tracking number from google showed the parcel in Dublin. It never updated past that part. I just kept checking my PM account for updates after that.

I am in exactly the same situation. I raised with Google but they are not helping so far.

I got my Nexus within a few days of the shipping notice, but the online tracking never progressed very far. I just checked it now (weeks after I got the phone) and it says this...

    1 BHX DUB Booked 08FEB13/2145 ETA(DUB)=11FEB,CARTONS,Wt=.67K,Vol=0
    1 BHX DUB Freight Received 08FEB13/2145 CARTONS,Frt.Rcvd=08FEB,,LTL,ETA(DUB)=11FEB
    08FEB13/2246 TRF:BHX-DUB,REF:528358,SENT:08FEB13 000000
BHX DUB Transfer Manifest Sent 08FEB13/0000 TM=528358,ETD=08FEB 00:00,ETA(DUB)=11FEB
    DUB Transfer manifest arrived 11FEB13/0000 TM=528358,ARRIVED=11FEB2013 00:00,DUBEDI

Soooo, ignore the tracker! Check for the money being taken out of your PM account or just wait for the PM text...

Got my first two orders canceled and placed a 3rd one 21st Feb which still havn't been canceled, but it only says "pre-ordered" and no other status update... I Hope its going through this time, the previous orders I made got canceled within 1day and this has been up for almost 7days so hopefully I'll get this one through.
Anyone else that ordered last week and still haven't got any update? And yes 16GB version of it.
I ordered two phones on 21st Feb like you and my order is still pending... This is my second try, first was cancelled after 8-9days. Will see, but I don;t really believe I get it;)

Go to the UTI tracking link that comes with your shipment email from Google.
On the left hand side, you should find a DIR number.
Take that number and visit parcelforce.com to track your package properly.

Thanks for all the replies. The parcel has just shown up on the pm website.

    hopefully later today or tomorrow!

I made a purchase of a nexus 4 on the 21st of Feb, it's still 'pre-order', i called them in America on '+1855-836-3987' and was told it'll be 2-3 weeks.. Though when i submitted an email query the auto response said it would ship by the 26th of Feb.

    Bastards..

I ordered from the UK, the US support line was the only one I could find. Rang through skype.

My order from the 21st Feb is also still on 'pre-order'. I don't think I'll contact them just yet. Don't want to draw attention to it and hopefully it will just get processed within the next few days. It was placed with the UK using the now accepted procedures.

Probably too late for you but if anybody needs the UK support number it's 0044 800 328 6081.
I think the support is US based. They are very helpful and easy to deal with.

Ok so last night I thought I'd chance ordering it see what happens. After a few problems and about a half an hour of messing about I put the order through at 12.01am. Expecting a cancellation email.. But I just got a confirmation email saying its shipped and the money was taken from my account...

Hey all, sorry new to this thread, but I'm in the US for the next two weeks. Can I order it over there easy enough and get it delivered to my hotel or work office? Any advice appreciated...

Probably not a good idea as the shipping process is a lottery (could be anything between 3 days - 3 weeks). Besides, I believe a US payment card linked to an US address (nearly certain but not 100% sure) is required to place an order in the first place..

I'm heading to the US in mid April to stay with family.. If I was to get someone there to order one for me you think it'l likely it'll have shipped by the time I get there?

I don't think you can use the US phones in Europe.

Just noticed something there when I looked my bank account online. The last time I looked at it, €338 had gone from my available funds. But I looked at it there and my available funds have gone back up to the original amount. Hope this is nothing to worry about. If it does actually ship tomorrow like Google said it would, I'll be getting it cheaper because sterling has weakened a bit since I ordered last Tuesday..

Anyone know this might have happened though? Is it that Google's" hold "on the funds expires after a week or something?

yeah they told me its called an "authorization " hold and its to make sure the funds are there when they ship. They told me that a week ago which was after my intended shipping date of the 21st.

I ordered on Sunday and it had a status saying pending
I emailed them and here's the response

Orders are shipped based on the estimate in your order confirmation email. Once an order has been processed you'll receive a second ship confirmation email with your tracking number. It may take 24 hours for the package tracking to return any information for your tracking number.

If you have not received a package tracking number after the time quoted in your order confirmation email, please let us know.

According to our records, your order should ship by the evening of February 28.

    Ordered via parcelmotel

That should be plenty of time alright..

Apparently LG have had rumoured production issues since original launch back in Nov 2012 which are reportedly likely to be addressed by this monthend. If that's true then stocks should pick up and shipping should only take a couple of days.

So for anyone trying to make sense of the variables in this, here's what happened with my order.

First attempt, 20 Feb: Removed country info from longstanding gmail account. Cleared out cookies etc and used Tunnelbear to login and order 16GB. Used my UK Visa Debit (Ulster Bank UK account but address on it is my home address in Ireland). PM shipping address. Gave billing address as my home address, but with PM postcode, so didn't mention it to the bank. UK phone number. The money was debited from my sterling account straight after but went back in the next day (pre-authorisation). Was on preorder for a week then got email this morning to say it had been cancelled.
"This order was likely canceled for one of the following reasons:

Details provided for your credit card do not match those on-file with your financial institution.
The address information provided was incomplete and could not be verified.
To block an attempt to purchase more than the maximum allowable devices."
    Another email said
"We have noticed some activity on your account that has prompted us to temporarily suspend use of this account for your security."
I thought maybe this was to do with the fact that I had logged into my Gmail with and without Tunnelbear over the week and this might have raised a flag so...

Second attempt, this afternoon: Using tunnelbear opened new UK-based google music account, gave different non-gmail email address, used same debit card, same address details. Amount was debited from bank account. I intended to try this and not log in again but as it happened it was cancelled within a few hours. Account suspended. When I followed the emailed link I got
"Your Google Wallet online account is currently suspended because we were unable to verify the credit or debit card information for your recent order."
(This also showed up in the first cancelled account.)

Third attempt, tonight: ordered using different Visa Debit card (Ulster Bank Ireland this time), used PM as billing and delivery address (didn't contact the bank about this because most successful orderers don't seem to). Checked my bank account after ordering and there was no debit this time. The order was cancelled within half an hour, account suspended, same emails.
Has anyone come back from a suspended account and managed a successful order with it? They're looking for ID and proof of UK address, which obviously I can't provide, so I don't see how I can even un-suspend it.
Any suggestions for a final attempt?

Your third attempt was what I did last night. Did you set up a new account while doing it? I tried at first to use my old Google account with edited details but it wouldn't let me into the store. Checked my IP and for some reason it said I was in Israel?

Then just cleared cookies, restarted tunnel bear, went to the store, put item in basket, opened a new account, put billing and delivery as Parcel motel. Used ulster bank Ireland visa card.

Yes, I should have mentioned that. I opened a new uk-based gmail account for the third attempt using tunnel bear.

The fact that my bank account wasn't debited and it was cancelled so quickly suggests that they did do address verification on the Visa Debit. Though it seems quite a few of you got away with not using your actual address. Did any of you successfully use an Ulster Bank card with PM billing address? And did you need to contact the bank beforehand?

I set up a new gmail, used a VPN and paid with a Moneybookers mastercard and input the PM address as the billing address. Did this on Tuesday, Phone shipped yesterday. Tracking says its in Dublin. Pity it has to go up North to come back down!
