    It's only when you start to branch out to other stouts/porters (eg Leann Follain, Fullers London Porter, Harviestoun Old Engine Oil) that you realise (and this will offend many) how "normal" Guinness the epitome of bland mediocrity. NB Guinness foreign extra is top notch

    Really should've got some Punk IPA too & got half cut rather than a relaxing 2 beers Saturday night

    When did Catherine Thomas stop doing Winning Streak? Always knew when one if the lads was visiting the parents/in laws as I'd get a pile of ogling texts about what she wasn't wearing

    Not knocking yer one on it now but is rather Catherine. Pity my mother doesn't watch Countdown instead of Winning Streak.....

    Beamish is decent.
    Oharas is muck. That Leann faoioeann is better than the standard ****e ****e but it's fizzy and rotten. It's okay for one or two. But ya couldn't drink 16 pints of it and still go dancing.

    My point is. Why drink something you can't session on.
