Still to be proved in case you hadn't noticed. Wouldn't be to happy yet
How do you know which form of cheating I was talking about? Plenty to choose from. Anyway we'll leave that discussion for your thread, if we're allowed to talk about it of course.

You really are like a big wean

Well we have been found not guilty of one ( I know HMRC are appealing it amazing how they don't go after multinationals ) so if its not the spl investigation I don't know what it can be. But no matter even if HMRC were to win this appeal you do know that they won't get a penny from anyone. Whereas if they chased Whyte they would

This time next week I'll be touching down in Glasgow ahead of the Juve game! Any other Celtic boardsies going over?

    Yeah I'm heading over.
There seems to be a few from here going. I'll be in Glasgow early, if there's interest we should organise a few pints.

Will be spending most of the time over there pre-game ticket hunting! If I can get sorted early doors I'd be well up for that.

Yeah headin over myself. Just got tickets on Saturday, it felt like Christmas. Say the place will be rocking.

Looking to jump on a bus for the trip if anybody knows of a spare seat, would appreciate it.

Our bus is full, had places only til the end of last week too.

Lubo, it is down now - either sold or taken down. There was another guy selling 2 tickets and a hotel stay for 500 quid and whilst it is on the site, it now says that it is sold.

Where do you guys normally go the night before the game, and then after the game? Would you stay at the Gallowgate or head to a club? The last time I was over we went to a club called Arches and it was the greatest club I have ever been in. Pound a drink!!

You can't beat a few tunes down the GG :) Might try to catch Gary Og if he's playing before/after.

Scotland won last night in Strachan's first game in charge. He's made Brown captain, Mulgrew scored, you'll be seeing more of Commons and Forrest as well I'd say, as Strachan builds his team around Scottish players from the current successful Celtic set up. Strachan will be a good fit there for Scotland, I expect that they'll become competitive as regards qualifying for tournaments again under him.

    Commons is English :P

That's bad news for us anyway. Only reason I watched the Scotland game was hoping our bhoys didn't get injured. Mulgrew may have a grazed arse right enough :pac:

Ambrose highly unlikely to make the Juve clash at home:

Shame, we could really do with him. We're down a few players now for this game.

It's not bad news for Celtic players to play international football, particularly if they are playing for competitive sides and win matches on the international stage which is likely to happen for Scotland now under Strachan. Players can pick up injuries anyway whether on club duty or international duty. Players playing for Celtic need to be operating in the CL and on the international stage to add value and experience to their abilities and profiles.

Who else will be missing? Will Samaras be fit?
Edit: just read that article now. Samaras in particular would be a big loss v Juve, hope he makes it.

Our players pick up enough injuries as it is. I can't even remember the last time we were able to field our first team.

I don't know how much experience our players will pick up playing the likes of Estonia in Pittodrie.

Really hope Sammy is back too. Saturday could be painful viewing, Caley Thistle are thugs at the best of times. Rather Lenny didn't play Forrest tbh

Sammy would be a massive loss if he misses the Juve game, hopefully he'll make it. The Caley game is one time the performance and result matter little, just need to get everyone through and fit.

Wouldn't complain if we got an early goal and gave them a lesson in football for 90 mins either!

    ......................Forster
    ......Lustig Wilson Mulgrew Matthews
    Forrest Brown Wanyama Ledley Samaras
    ......................Hooper

I'd go with that. Commons instead of Samaras if needs be. Can go 4-4-2 with Stokes later if we want.

Gershon being left out of the squad still baffles me as I'm sure there will be players Lennon won't use in either leg (Stokes probably:rolleyes:)

I'd go with that team too, Commons unlucky to miss out but could make an impact off the bench.

Strange decision to drop McCourt from the squad and leave the place unused, hopefully that won't cost us later in the competition! :D

The Caley game doesn't matter at all. He should rest everyone he can for Juve. I'd start Stokes, McCourt - who has played well in these type of away games before - maybe give Rogic a start.

I'd go with your team there v Juve and make sure Brown and Hooper among others don't play v Inverness.

It's feckin great to be in the last 16 of the CL.

Might be because he is about to be loaned out to a championship side.

Had two tickets for the game on Tuesday night, supposed to pick them up tomorrow. Guy text tonight saying he has sold them to someone else who offered him extra cash. F*cking devastated!

I know people will think I should be laughing at this but I am not. It's a low thing for anyone to do if you were promised the tickets that's that as far as I am concerned do you know this guy is he a mate,if he is he wouldn't be a mate any longer if I were in your shoes on fact I think he would be getting a slap.
I hope hou get sorted mate I really do

Do you know any details of his to report to the club so they can cancel his tickets? Means he'd go to gate and scanner would refuse entry. Be amazing to see that reaction. The person who paid more would be shafted too.

If he's a mate, it's a very low thing to do.

If he was just some bloke, then unfortunately if the cash isn't in his hand, the tickets were not yours. A promise is worthless with a stranger unfortunately.

Personally I wouldn't sell tickets for anything over face value, but it happens all the time with sell-out events.

Hope you get sorted though, especially if you've made all the other arrangements. Would love to have gone myself.

Thanks all, nah he was a guy that a friend of a friend knew. I was so sceptical all week about it as I was not supposed to get them until today, and then he contacted my buddy last night and told him he "had to" give them to someone else.

Paulo - you are spot on. Word is not binding im afraid. I have not got any tickets now but you never know,I could pick one up over there.

Kick off v ICT at midday. Interesting line-up for Celtic in this one: Forster; Fraser, Rogne, Gershon; McGeouch, McCourt, Kayal, Rogic, Commons; Stokes, Miku.

Looking forward to seeing how some of the new faces fare in what will be a tough encounter. It's always tough away to Caley.
