    Hi all,

My boat's name is coming off the side and I'm looking for a cheap way to replace it. Perhaps a decal?

Any thoughts on how best to replace it (cheaply) and where I might get that done?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi smeedyova, I got some made by these guys in Swords http://www.signsasap.ie/ they do signs for cars and vans so I say any similar place around the country would do the same.

    Hi fergal. b,

Thanks for the reply. I had thought of that but worried that it might come off easily, but it's working out well for you?

Here is another place that might be worth a look. http://www.boatlettering.ie/links.html

Any of those sign places will do vinyl lettering for you. Hope you don't end up pulling off pieces of paint and gel coat when your taking the old name off. Happened to me in November taking the sail numbers and boot strap off my hull.

If taking off old stickers use a heat gun or even a hair dryer as an aid.
