And if you know your history.......! Seriously.

There is an Irish dimension to hibs identity as there is an edinburgh one and a leith one, the support is drawn from across the community with a sizeable chunk being descendants of Irish immigrants as you would expect. The club has never tried to particularly emphasize this aspect of its identity over the other components however.

Most hibs fans dislike celtic intensely for a variety of reasons, refreshingly free of sectarian motivations.

Did Hibs not try and promote the Irish background of the club a bit a few years ago?

Lads, any chance at all I'd be able to get my hands on a couple of tickets for Juve in Parkhead? Any pointers as to where I could get them?

    Tickets will be very tight.

If you don't mind being ripped off then you can get one here

Looks like Charlie Mulgrew and Adam Matthews will be fit to play Motherwell tomorrow. We really missed Mulgrews set piece delivery against Hibernian and with Forrest and Commons still injured hopefully Matthews will give us better width down the right.

Forrest out again. These last 2 years have been a complete and utter joke for injuries.

the only other option is wait until you get over there bit risky but i know people who done it for the barca game and got tickets no problem.

might be worth asking around if you're going over between now and then?

Yea there will always be a chance of getting one on the day. Still, if you're travelling over and taking time of work etc then obviously you'd like to be sorted in good time

Once again one of your sad mob is completely incapable of having a bit of a laugh. I know you've come off an utterly miserable year but try and cheer up laddy :)

Thanks for taking the time out to talk about me despite the thread having thoroughly moved on though. Not Obsessed RSC :pac:

First to be shown the door is Rabiu Ibrahim

    http://sport.stv.tv/football/208139-rabiu-ibrahim-kilmarnocks-modern-style-will-suit-my-game/

Not good enough for Celtic but could prove to be a good signing for Kilmarnock

    Starting Lineup

#Celtic: Forster; Matthews, Ambrose, Wilson, Izaguirre; Commons, Wanyama, Kayal, Mulgrew; Hooper, Samaras (LB)

#Celtic subs: Zaluska, Lassad, McCourt, Rogne, Watt, Chalmers, McGeouch (LB)

Efe Ambrose fills the togs from 6 yards out yet again!

In fairness nobody was expecting Randolph to drop it and Efe wasn't even facing toward goal.

One of those shots where they'd have been better off not bothering.

Half time ,showing highlights from a game from years back with McClair and Mo Johnstone scoring rakes of goals. Early 80's I'd say, McStay and McGrain in the team probably Pat Bonner too.

Edit: It was the year Celtic won the league on the last day when Hearts blew it. 1986.

What is the difficulty we are having scoring at home in the SPL? 11 shots according to the BBC, 5 on target and still 0-0.

I'd like to see McCourt or McGeouch sprung from the bench, need a bit of creativity around there box.

The way the opposition sets up I suppose. A draw away at Parkhead is a great result for them.

Always does, almost as bad as Strachan.

Samaras should have been off at halftime, if not 20 mins in. McGeouch on for Commons to give us a bit of width.

Nowhere near as bad as O'Neill!

    What a save by Forster!

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha justice done with save from big Fraser

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,940 ✭✭✭BhoscaCapall

Mulrew booked for his first foul
    Three identical Motherwell fouls unpunished
Penalty given for a dive, Ambrose booked
Forster booked for pointing out the ball wasn't on the spot

Forster always saves the penalties that should never have been given. Two against Hearts and today's :D

What a goal by Hooper, great pass by Samaras, inch perfect!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,529 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

The commentators shíting on about the ball not being on the spot, it clearly was! Clearly them and Forster etc need to read the rulebook and not be picking up stupid yellow cards for protesting things they should know better about!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Lennonist

Ref did us a favour with that bad penalty decision to 'Well, game came to life and Celtic score:D

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,940 ✭✭✭BhoscaCapall

Murphy should be sent off for two dives. Makes you wonder why he turned down a move to The Rangers with that attitude
