One of TNA's stronger DVD's with a lot of great matches (though there is a lot of Joe (though that is understandable considering the time period it covers)) and one of the better documentaries they've produced (even if I never liked the way they break it up).

Sad to see silvervision lose the licence. Used them often many a year ago.

I'd be getting it solely for the documentary..any idea you know how long it is?how does it rank up to wwe documentaries?

Off work with a Broken Arm at the moment, so i've a list of old school DVDS to watch such as:

    WWE Falls count any where
    ECW Unreleased Vol 1
    WCW The best of Nitro
WCW The rise and fall of WCW
    ECW Most Bloodiest Matches
    WWE The Attitude ERA.

Also Have ECW Hardcore TV all the espidoes from 1993. Looking forward to getting stuck into the old ECW stuff as i loved that. Shame its so hard to come by these days.

Most are available online to Buy. Some of the older ECW stuff id quiet hard to find.

Ive a guy willing to sell me the whole ECW collection from 1993-2001 , but it is missing 4 espidoes he said. He said its over 150 discs. Unsure what to do at the moment. :o

Finished watching ECW Unreleased Vol 1 today. Not a bad DVD. Found the second and third DVD alot better than the first. Some of the Matches were classics too, such as Mike Awesome v Tanka. Also some of Rob Van Dam and Sabu's tag teams matches were excellent too. Id recommend this DVD and give it about a 7/8. There wasn't too much Hardcore or Blood in it though. Still very enjoyable though.

www.wwedvd.co.uk has added an FAQ to its website.
    Q. Are FremantleMedia going to carry on with Tagged Classics?
    A. We know the Tagged Classics have been popular with fans and we will be looking at developing similar DVD programming during 2013.

    Q. Are the DVD’s going to continue after Summer Slam 2012?
    A. Yes, we have a full release schedule planned for 2013 and we will follow the release pattern of the US.

    Q. Is there a set time frame for how long after the US the UK will have the DVD?
    A. It is our intention to release product in Europe as quickly as possible after the US release. Our target is to get this down to 4 weeks or under.

    Q. Are you going to continue releasing the Live In The UK titles each year?
    A. Yes, we will continue to release the Live in the UK titles.

    Q. Do you know if the Attitude Era DVD will have the same exclusives as Best Buy are offering in the US?
    A. Yes, our Attitude Era DVD & Blu-ray will contain the same exclusives that are available to Best Buy in the US.

    Q. When you say you will be offering back catalogue titles does this mean you will be selling older titles previously released by the old licensee?
    A. Yes, it is our intention to offer a range of back catalogue titles previously released by the old licensee. All rights to titles and content previously released by the old licensee will be transfer to Fremantle on 1st January 2013. We will make as much of the back catalogue available as we can and will also look into new ways of presenting it.

    Q. Will the DVD’s be ahead of retail stores on your website?
    A. We will have a pre-order facility but the website and retail release dates will be the same.

    Q. Will you be releasing the past PPV’s?
    A. We will reactivate a range of back catalogue titles previously release by the old licensee over a period of time and this will include the past PPV’s.

    Q. Why is there such a big gap between Hell In A Cell and Survivor Series and then only a 2 week to TLC?
    A. We are trying to catch up with the US release schedule. Once we have achieved this, the releases will be more regular.

    Q. Are you going to release PPV every month or 2 every second month?
    A. After Survivor Series and TLC are both released in March, the PPV schedule is shaping up to be monthly from then on.

    Q. When is Nitro 2 Blu-ray being released?
    A. The release is planned for April 2013, but currently on DVD only, we are reviewing if we release this title on Blu-ray

    ARTWORK & PACKAGING

    Q. Will the packaging for the Live In The UK releases be the same as the previous licensee?
    A. We will look to produce our own packaging design but will bear in mind previous artwork.

    Q. Will you continue to print the FSK logo’s on the German inlays?
    A. Yes, it is a requirement to release product in Germany

    Q. Will FM put their logos all over the front cover like the previous licensee or will it look like the US releases which is a definite plus for WWE fans?
    A. Our DVD and Blu-Ray covers will match the US artwork and will run with one FremantleMedia logo, in addition to the WWE Home Video logo.

    LANGUAGE

    Q. Will the DVD’s have French commentary?
    A. Yes, we will have French and German commentary and, soon after the wwedvd.co.uk launch, we will launch wwedvd.fr and wwedvd.de

    ORDERS

    Q. Will customers be able to pre-order from the website?
    A. Yes, there will be a pre-order facility.

    Q. Will there be a telephone number to place orders?
    A. We are currently reviewing the order processes and hope to make it as easy as possible to place orders on wwedvd.co.uk

    SHIPPING

    Q. Are you shipping free to Europe?
    A. Yes, we will offer free shipping to anywhere in Europe.

    Q. Will you offer next day delivery?
    A. All orders will be shipped via 1st Class post and you will receive new release orders by the release date

    PRICING

    Q. What will FremantleMedia pricing strategy be?
    A. We are currently reviewing our pricing structure and will soon be announcing this on wwedvd.co.uk. We are confident that our pricing for New Releases will be similar to the previous licensee

    OTHER WWE MERCHANDISE/PRODUCTS

    Q. Will your website sell other WWE product like merchandise?
    A. No the website will be dedicated to WWE DVD, Blu-ray and Digital content.

    Q. Will products be available to download digitally?
    A. Yes we have digital rights and will be making all content available digitally

    Q. Will Blu-ray products be region free?
    A. We are currently looking in to this and will confirm soon

Good to see free postage to everywhere in Europe.

Picked up WCW Clash of the Champions for £6 in CEX in Newry yesterday, the matches list looks interesting.

Which year is that? Or is it a box-set of all 35 shows?

The only thing I found interesting on the Attitude Era DVD was hearing people like Mick Foley admit that they may have lost their way a bit in recent years since they have no real competition. Other than that it pretty much just was just a description of events with no real in depth discussion or new insight. Worth a watch I suppose but there's nothing you didn't already know, which I think should be one of the main selling points of a new documentary.

nWo: The revolution, 50 greatest finishers and Rock/Cena: Once in a lifetime have been added to the American netflix.

Silvervision are doing a tagged classics sale as well.

Just finished watching McGuinness's doc. Everything everyone says it is. Especially how emotionally heavy it is. I admire Nigel going warts and all by including his "breakdown." Just an ultimate unlucky story in a business that can be a zero sum game when it comes to signing with WWE in terms of money, self esteem and how people perceive you if at all.

I was happy to see Mad Man Mason being put over as one of Nigel's favourite independent wrestlers ever.

I got Judgement day 2002 on one of the Silvervision sales a few months back but with a bit of time over Christmas I stuck it on last night.

I don't think I had seen the PPV since 2002

Good opener from Eddie and RVD, Edge Vs Angle (Hair Vs Hair) was great, HHH Vs Jericho (HIAC) was better than I remembered but the Hogan Vs Taker main event was dire

The DVD must set a record for dubbed out music on a WWE PPV DVD though.

All of the following music was dubbed out
    nWo
    Ric Flair
    Stacy Keibler
    Edge
    The Undertaker
    Brock Lesnar

I was actually shocked when Hogans "Voodoo child" music hit.

I'm watching The Greatest Cage Matches Of All Time this afternoon. I really like the Matt Hardy vs. Edge one from Unforgiven in whatever year that was (2005?/6?). Edge vs. John Cena now for the title from one of the million or so times that they fought. There's some very good old matches on there as well.

    nWo: The Revolution.

Wasn't really that great, lacked any kinda depth for me, would have really liked to have seen them go more into the feuds the nWo were involved in.

Just put in probably my last order to Silvervision :(

Great service from them over the years.

When do we have until to order stuff off of them? I haven't been near a bank to lodge money. Watching Saturday Morning Slam's highlights of the year here, it's a good little show.

I think they'll still sell into 2013 until they clear all their stock.
