Ibanez AS53, anyone any experience with this? Decided to get a hollow body guitar and this one seemed at the right price. Im a lefty so i'm fairly limited in terms of trying before buying especially for something a little more uncommon, so i bought this online for 300 euro, didn't think i could go too far wrong. Any opinions? Anyone have one or another of the artcore axes? How did you find them?

Not sure about the AS53, but I picked up an AS93 used on Adverts, and I love it. I think it's the next model "up".
Now, I have played it alongside a Gibson Midtown, and you can hear the obvious difference in quality.
So, a good set up pickups in the AS93, and I think I'd have a really nice guitar.
I like the feel of it, the neck is really nice too, for a not too expensive guitar.......
See if you can find an AS93....

    AS93 isn't available left handed.

ah sorry, didn't see that. I'd say the Ibanez would be ok. If it feels nice, then you can mod away if it takes your fancy. Main thing is if it stays in tune, is comfy for you, and sounds ok........
