Yes have to admit its off putting when somone says they got a dead cert but fancy something else, kind of sounds like your own selection but your undecided.

nope its not my selection if it was i wouldnt fancy the other thing id fancy that

its 10/3 second fav at the moment
just to let people know ive decided to place a bet on it meself
came from a reliable source ( a person who really knows his racing )cant say anymore , think of it what you will, just thought id post it here, im expecting odds to drop though probably will go off fav

*edit: good news the other horse which i fancied has been declared a non runner

was chookie royale
so il be going with the tip either way now

Wasnt even placed.

Seen it was going out in the betting on PP but still put €10 on.

New it sounded dodge but like everything had it won we wouldnt be complaining.

Sorry guys but yis need to get a grip, the person who is giving the tip probably believes the horse has a chance, as they might believe the person who is telling them, it might be 4th hand but, they decide to post it here,

why the fook would someone create a thread just to try to catch people out, the posters give their information then you can check the animal out, if you think there is a chance it might perform, throw a few quid on,

but don't bitch, the thread title is your clue, I don't back every tip I hear about, but I will look, decipher and put the money down or just watch, when the tips win it is happy days, but when they don't its moan city,

just read, make a decision, to back or not to back, don't disssss the pigeon carrier.

The Point is you dont come on saying its a dead cert according to his contact and then when it doesnt win you just say its a tip from a mate who gambles a lot which is what it sounded like.

It was made out that it was from someone who knows his stuff about horses, cant say anymore. was the qoute.

If this was just 4th hand information you wouldnt be writing that confidently, you would probably say you heard that a horse is running today and its well fancied.

People as always over exagerate the information to make it sound better than it really is.

I guess coming 6th out of 8 and not even in the race kind annoyed people, if someone gave you a tip in the pub or the bookies and it came no where you give them a grilling, part and parcel of giving out tips.

He will probably go back to his contact and give him a grilling over it as well, thats the way it rolls.

Like you said you decide yourself, I had reservations at first because of what was written but I still backed it, more fool me.

first one is a tip but was told only to bet on it if the ground gets heavyier , the fav will flop if it does but if it doesnt i wouldnt put me house on it put it that way haha
