Some of them don't know the bus stops in campus. Don't be hard on them, it can be confusing and it's only their first proper week in.

I'm disliking how some lecturers do not end the lecture on time and I'm late for the next lecture, especially if the two buildings are across campus. I hate being late to anything, although I'm sure it's partly just a first year thing :P

The longest I've been kept is until 7 minutes past the hour. Wasn't too bad considering we only had to walk from Kemmy to Schumann, but our lecturer for the next class was less than pleased...

Also have vague memories of being kept so long at a 5pm-6pm lecture that when we got out the doors to the building were locked. :P

I'd just walk out if it was coming to the hour - their problem not yours if they're holding you from another lecture.

You're not obliged to stay after 10 to the hour. That's a rule too afaik.

Yea it is. I remember in first year we stayed in a late lecture and then went to our next one about 5-10 mins late. The lecturer wasn't very happy with us and he said "You are well within your rights to stand up at ten to and leave". So we all did it in his lecture then :P

How long does it take the COOP office to reply to basic emails? I've sent two in the last 7 days and neither have been replied to yet.

Happened to me too (in 2011). Gave 3 times in the Kilmurry Lodge no problem but gave it once in EG010 and both me and the guy next to me fainted after - we had the same nurse and were in the warmest part of the hall, furthest from a breeze. Go figure eh?
Can't donate anymore cos of it.

gotta love being O-. universal donor

They love you regardless of the condition. Told me today that the blood was gonna be used in a pediatric operation.

Great to hear but the discrimination against the LGBT community sickened me.

SAA seriously don't know their arse from their elbow...

Tell me, how exactly am I supposed to link in a module this semester, THAT ISN'T ON THIS SEMESTER?

Christ on a bike, I thought this had been sorted out on Monday last week. :(

Yes, it can take a while to get off campus in a car at peak times (8 mins-ish from Foundation to gates) Please for the love of all that is GOOD just stop leaning on the horn. No one is moving because the traffic is choc-a-block just fckin' suck it up people!

The woman in the car in front of me started fckin' me out of it in her mirror as she thought I was beeping at her when it actually was the cars behind me acting the absolute tit. Watch it with that sh1t folks, it's not good for you or the people around you.

Is it a module that isn't running because the Department don't have the resources to run it? They should inform SAA when a module isn't running but it sometimes falls through the cracks between the departmental admin staff and SAA.

Or is it a Spring module?

Course has been restructured and the module won't run again until next September. Course Director nominated a module to do instead of it, two people in SAA said it was fine and all I had do was submit the form. Got an email this morning from someone trying to convince me I put the wrong module down on the form.

    Just irritating.

Bus was half an hour late because the Guards pulled it over to arrest somebody. Missed the early bus home but I got home in the end so I'm not complaining that much.

Yeah, I took it earlier - there was an awfully perverted, creepy drunk chap on it. I'm guessing it was him they arrested.

Today was a tough day...anyone doing orientation guide today will sympathise...the maths teachers whinged and moaned far more than any of the students, grr

There has been some difficulties this week, due to increased nos. of students on courses (and therefore on modules), and as a result personalised student timetable production has been delayed. It is hoped that personalised timetables will be available to all students by Thursday 27th September.

Well, that's just grand. Does this happen every year?
