The quality of downloaded DVD rips is inferior to a professionally pressed disc. And they are £6.99 for many of their 3 disc DVDs and they have plenty of PPV DVDs for £4.99 with a 10% discount when you buy three or more. Even with the falling £/€ conversion they work out pretty affordable.

The three disc sets have nice artwork and packaging and there will probably be a massive sale to clear out their remaining stock.

Hard drives fill and data corrupts so downloading is of no comparison to a DVD if you're collecting.

    It's worth it imo.

    ^^This DVD will be awesome!
I'm planning on buying this and the Summer of Punk DVD and having a GREAT weekend somewhere down the line!

Silvervision said they'll continue to sell the current range of DVDs in the future, so I doubt we'll get a clear out sale.

But if you pre-order, for eg, the Punk DVD in Sterling and with the included postage, it works out at €20. If you wait for it to end up in HMV, it'll be 2 months later and €44.99.

SV were unrivalled and the best.

I'd to buy 2 dvds last week in HMV was disgusted with the prices in there. The Cd's are ok but €42 for Gears 3?
The tiny Wrestling dvd section was full of more shovelware than the Jon Fitch infested ufc dvd section.

SV will be missed, had nice deals every few weeks and delivery was always very fast.

I'd say they cleared out a fair bit of stock during their fire-ish sale a few months back when rumours of a split from WWE first emerged (and were denied at the time)

Punk DVD will probably be the last new DVD I'll be ordering from them.

    Only while stocks last...
Silvervision.co.uk (owned by Clear Vision Ltd) will continue to sell WWE DVDs, Blu-rays and WWE films after this date while stocks last,

Is there an update on this situation? Even why it happened?
Surely it cant be because of the WM DVD mess up that happened

What sort of production problems could they be under then, since WrestleMania was in the shops over here a few months ago? It seemed like everything was back on track again when they started getting the stock back into the retailers. Hmm, it's weird that this deal is coming to an end when it feels like they've always been in partnership with each other, unless I'm mistaken. Play is the only way to go, or else go 2nd hand, I believe. Have been watching The John Cena Experience recently. I picked it up for E4.

I'm sure this ties into the decision to part ways with SilverVision. Can't believe there was no MITB2011 Blu-Ray. Hopefully WWE make good on their DVD/BR production and bring out those missed videos. Also for blu's maybe they could just make em region free so people could have that option.

Amazon marketplace is MUCH cheaper for wwe dvds.

wwe in house IMO. wwe seem to be tightening the reigns in 3rd party companies who produce their stuff.
Look at the euroshop, although it was 'authentic' the quality was awful compared to the US store stuff.
I'm sure it would be cheaper for the E to cut these ties and just create a new department in their UK office.

The thing is with Silvervision is that they don't seem to be that future looking - they don't have Video on Demand or digital downloads.

Anyway so the Attitude Era DVD will be rated PfeckingG:

I can't see them releasing a PPV on blu-ray that's more than a year old. Lots of people want it sure but it would be out of the ordinary if they did. Best to hope for is a Money in the Bank blu-ray boxset which has been put on those questionnaires on the WWE website as an option for future release.

I doubt there's a chance that whatever new website WWE set up with allow us in Ireland to pay in Sterling as was the case with SilverVision.

Another thing, Golden Discs sometimes gets in cheap WWE DVDs so if there's any blowout stock I'd say they might show up there.

Completed my CZW Cage of Death collection today, always enjoy them for the insane spots.

I also picked up the IWA-MS 2 year anniversary event which has the Chris Hero vs Punk TLC match that goes on for over an hour. I reckon it'll be mentioned in the Punk documentary too.
