Unbelievable! Absolute minter ! 22 years old! Showroom condition , wow!
I think the wheels are awful and do not suit the car at all.

Yes indeed. A very nice car. Well looked after. I guess whomever buys it will not be disappointed.:)

Looks like he took it on a mini break for the photos.! Including 1 outside a Toyota dealer for some reason..??

Anyway. Whilst the extras may not be mighty, if ya got it for €900. flog the alloys and replace with normal wheels, ya've got what looks like a well minded diesel avensis for reasonable money.

The milage is very not a problem and there is some test to boot.

Not for everyone, but if it checks out it could be a decent runner for somebody.

and i am sorely tempted to buy that carina, it looks like a little love would do it wonders, aside from the ill fitting bumpers dare i say it looks ok? mental mileage id say though.

That's one for the dreamers thread tbh!

not at all, looks to be rust free and be reasonably straight, the only issue is the bumpers.

a 1.6 carina II so clearly the engine is perfect :pac:

a hard got car now and it'd go forever. i'd love it, defo worth 250/ 300 to a toyota fanboi, another 300 would have it on the road perfect.

Guys, what would this be worth?

    1998 VW Polo
    85,000 Miles
    Tax 01/13
    NCT 01/13

Driving fine although theres some play in the steering column. Havent driven it yet to see how bad it is, my friend says she was able to drive it no problem like that but has since bought a new 1 series.
Very quick sale needed, so not looking for market value ;)

€300 + the value of the remaining tax?

And thinking of late 90s Merc C180.
Something along the lines of this

God, 1750 is alot! Would really want to be a genuine, spotlessly clean car before I'd spend over 1k on a 98 petrol, leatherless C class.

Can't go too far wrong with them though, as long as it ain't rusty.

Donedeal for 400, honest ad, disclose the issue(s). It will be gone in an hour for full asking. Wanna bet?

We'll split the 100 profit :pac:

Watch for rust but otherwise they're fairly robust

Looks like a good car in nice condition. Generally speaking a reliable motor.
    Price @ €1750 seems a bit high for '99 C Class.
At that money I think you could get into a 2000 or 2001 C Class (later model).

€400, less the cost of a bonnet.........serious corrosion on front

Can almost guarantee the engine would be perfect in that, ive one closing on 240k miles now never missed a beat, or wanted for anything :D

The bumpers fit like shit on them all really bar the executive and fancy models. :pac:

Fecking brilliant car them, and the seats are lovely, good comfort for what they are.

Parts are easy got and lots are interchangeable with other models, you should have a look out for rust but they dont seem to suffer too bad with it, check the pockets in the boot though, they can take in a sup of water, they're brilliantly simple so not much to go wrong.

LOL was thinking that too :D

Why the hell would you replace that bonnet? A new bonnet would cost more than the car is worth :D

That's a mates old car, he only sold it less than a year ago for a considerable good bit more than that.
