I wonder if OLD MAN IN CINEMA will attend that film tonight, secretly Mr. U's companion for the evening?

You won't be allowed back into the country unless you have a Batrider PCB under your arm ;)

Depends if I get beaten to the chase! I plan to be knocking on MAK and G-Front's doors by first light as soon as I get there!

If it's gone, it's gone. I have backup stuff I'd like to buy anyway. :)

@ImmediateEntrance: I AM NOT 'OLD MAN IN CINEMA'!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like I'm Tokyo-bound myself, booking my trip back there this week, heading in August :)

I feel sorry for old man in the cinema. All he wanted was a crafty fiddle in the cinema by himself and was interrupted by J_U's prying eyes. His only crime was getting caught....

...indecent exposure and splashing his nasty on the seat covers.

    Hethen MicroSonySoft fetishist talk!

In my day the Dreamcast didn't need no fancy schmancy second analogue stick!
Neither did the Saturn's Nights-Into-Dream's controller!
    Nor the N64!

And we played them all uphill! BAREFOOT. IN STINKING 50Hz!!!

This second analogue stick fad is as decadent and depraved as The Kentucky Derby!

    Maybe they VGA grade kidneys?

Where the hell are those goddamn golf shoes???

You played PAL Dreamcast games in 50hz? Did you just have a ****ty TV or are / were you some kind of masochist? Most if not all DC games had the option of running in 60hz mode back then...

People who played DC games in 50Hz aren't worth your time :P

I'll be there on Wednesday, how much was that Batrider going for again ;)

Ah no, I'm not really interested. I'll be more hitting Super Spud and others for games, consoles and then on to have a look at some arcade machines.

I've gone from being slightly enamoured with the Aero Table to head over heels. Absolutely beautiful.

Unfortunately they seem to be pretty hard to come there and up with Egret IIs on the desirability list.

I've always loved the Aero City. The Aero Table is a piece of beautiful art, but the Aero City is a masterpiece. It's my joint favourite cab with the Konami Windy.

Still love my New Astro City though. :)

I'm not a fan of the Aero City but that Aero Table is something else. I wonder is it easy to rotate the screen in that position.

One thing I read somewhere about the Aero Table is PCB clearance isn't too great under the monitor. Might have a bit of difficulty putting CPS2 boards in there.

I don't think they have a tate mech - but can be rotated. So I think it'll just be a difficult 2 man job. At least you don't have to lie the cab on it's back as the monitor is already flat though :D

Yeah, just lift and rotate I'd say, easy enough. Those arcade monitors are easy enough to install without putting a normal candy on it's back so this would be pretty handy to do.
Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for one this week when I'm checking out that warehouse full of candies.

Y'know, I also played my Dreamcast with shoes on too. ;) But don't tell anyone, they might think I'm a casual or something.

I'm the guy who liked Pen Pen Tricelon, does that make me hardcore, ubercasual or was I just desperate to have something to play on my new Dreamcast?

Looking forward to the film tonight, my wife is coming with so I don't get tempted to go Dirty Old Man Hunting, with a set of night vision goggles and a cricket bat.

An Aero table complete with original speaker assembly is almost impossible to find , looks awesome though .

    That's probably Joe's ( SuperPang on A.O. )

I dream of Egret 2! lets hope the dream comes true.

Ever seen one in the flesh?

From some of the comments I've read over on AO while stalking every Aero Table over there, it seems Ronnie may have had a few a while back?

Such a classy looking yolk. Could throw a tablecloth over it and the girlfriend would never know.. :pac:

I just saw this covered over on HG101. It's called Oniken and it's available on Desura for sweet FA and looks like a really amazing ninja gaiden type game in a NES style:

I know Ronnie had several for sale not long ago , some original and some restored before he sold them .

When I picked up my Cute I think he had at least one but I don't remember exactly because he had lots of different cabs that had just arrived .
He gets really obscure stuff like Taito Canary, Sega City, Ambo , Tehnkan , Capcom Status , Namco Consolette .

Just had a quick blast of the demo, it's like Strider mixed with Contra, very cool game.

He does get some really obscure stuff in alright - it's great, I love getting a glimpse of older Japanese arcade gear.

My Poxy transformer just broke. Unplugged the NES and it took all the wiring with it. Now my imports including my 3DS are useless until I get a new one. Anyone know the best place to get one?
