Ok, so this means he can sell the new club (effectively worthless without assets) on to another consortium/fan group etc., but the stadium and training ground will be with a separate company, and he'll rent them the facilities and still own them himself?

What a c**t! In effect, neither old Rangers, new Rangers, the fans or the creditors of the old club gain anything in this scenario, and Green gets everything.

    That's the most likely scenario.

And the rumour is that Whyte still has a floating charge, so he'll get a share too no doubt.

I ****ing hope both of them see jail time soon.

Where did Whyte's floating charge come out of again? That something he threw in there before he bit the dust?

I thought the administration process would have unravelled the layers of bullshít for Rangers, its made it worse!

According to the title deeds lodge with the Registry of Scotland, the floating charge transferred to previous owner Craig Whyte is still outstanding over the Murray Park training ground in Auchenhowie Road, Milngavie.

Now, these records can take months to update, but I wouldn't put it past Whyte, Green and D&P.

When you take a step back and think about what's happened over the last 2 years, it really is completely gobsmacking.

Seriously, if anyone had dreamt up these events as a "conspiracy theory" a they would have been laughed at - yet it seems Lloyds, Murray, Whyte, D&P and Green have all been involved in ****ing the club, and it's fans over for their own gain.

Wether they are all seperate opportunists, or have actually worked together in some way or form i don't know - but i really can't dismiss anything at this stage.

Would this be on a par with rangers ****ing the rest of the spl teams over for years for their own gain?

I should have put it "loophole" because thats what he keeps calling it.

He transferred the contracts without telling players hoping that the time to object would lapse. Despicable person.

    Rangers are dead

A new company was set up to buy the assets, they are called Sevco something

A lot of senior players have walked away from the new company under the TUPE regulations

Sevco have not registered as a football club yet as they need a league to play in

The SPL clubs have said fcuk off (informally) to Sevco. Formal vote is next week

The SFL said they should apply for membership of the SFL by Friday if they are to apply at all

It is unknown if Sevco will try try to join Division 1 or the lowest division (3)

Raith Rovers and Falkirk have publically told Sevco to fcuk off trying to join Division 1

The SFA are looking into the possibility of changing the structure of Scottish football to a Premier Division and First Division

It is currently unknown if there will be any football played next season by the new club that Sevco register with the SFA once they find a league to join

A picture taken when people are clearly leaving, wow.
10.000 will be a bit much, probably half that.

Wasn't that the mob who were celebrating your title win at Ibrox ?

Fair play to those that did show up... Irrespective of numbers, the ones that showed are proper fans, looking to save their club (or the new version of it) from the jaws of extinction.

Though I hate the club (1.0 & 2.0)... I feel for the fans.

I'm not an expert on Scottish football but I'm shocked at the clubs objecting to Rangers being allowed to play in the SPL or even First Division.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but Celtic and Rangers are by far the biggest supported clubs in Scotland and this is surely beneficial to the other clubs in terms of gate receipts etc.

Are Rangers so disliked that the clubs would be happy to see them gone altogether?

I wonder if Celtic were in the same predicament as Rangers would the other clubs want them out as well?

Surely sporting integrity cannot/should not be bought?

I understand where you are coming from, Dempsey, but I feel the team and supporters are being punished for activities outside of their control.

If Rangers are gone the SPL will be dominated by one club, Celtic, and that can't be good for Celtic either.

Waffle tbh, do you even know what Rangers fans want? They want Div3

Rangers is being liquidated, nothing is going to change that. The rules for a new club are clear.

So what do you suggest, put the new club straight into the SPL?

What will happen then? Every football club will build up a pile of debt, liquidate, pay nobody back (incl. the taxpayers btw) and start afresh. Why owe people money when you can wind up, start a new club and walk straight back into the slot that you left the old club in? Why should lower league teams suffer because you've decided the integrity of the league goes out the window?

Seriously, think about it. To even suggest that a new club be allowed walk into the SPL (or Div 1 for that matter) is simply ridiculous.

Of course it's not the fans fault, and not the players fault (for the most part). That doesn't mean that punishments should not be given.
