Well from looking on ebay last night unscrupulous sellers are already flogging it for about 70 euros. There's also a load of DS and DS Lite only copies. I reported them all :P

Yup. I'd thought you'd be on that like Hugh Hefner and a barely legal bimbo.

Watched mother****er mikes obscure NES games video last night. Some really good suggestions and a few games I've never heard of:

I'll have to add it to the collection but I don't have a great interest in playing it. Although its supposed to have a fantastic story but I'm really not an RPG guy.

Eh? You do know that Pokemon is about as pure an RPG as you can get?

Also Pokemon Conquest is a strategy RPG. They play a lot different to conventional RPGs. More like Advance Wars with leveling up.

The girlfriend's dad calls me 'Noel Coward' whenever he comes around.

I should probably go for his whole look. Would be fitting given my golden surroundings. :pac:

Oh I know, but there's something immensely more entertaining levelling up monsters as opposed to people.

Is it the lack of bad haircuts and existential crises?

I think so, although the characters in Pokémon have ridiculous hats and berets.

Anyone read the Tekken article in the latest issue of Retrogamer magazine? Really good read. The original producer of the series basically went on a bit of a rant and insulted the current Namco and a few of his co-workers although names weren't mentioned. You don't often get that from a japanese developer!

Thanks, hadn't heard of it at all, will browse now, I've a whole folder of stuff to hama. Making some jewellery so the food sprites will come in handy.
Speaking of food sprites and stuff

Well that's the girlfriend's dad off my christmas card list!

    My gaydar level is zero.

I didn't know Stephen Fry was gay until a few years ago.

Christ on a bike o1s1n, how could you not know Stephen Fry likes to putt from the rough? Noel Coward was very well known for being somewhat 'flamboyant' too.

It's pretty hilarious alright. A few years back I was watching QI and he made some joke about gay people being flogged on the Isle of Man.

o1s1n - 'but why would Stephen Fry be flogged, he's not...gay...?'

o1s1n's girlfriend - '...are you actually serious?'

o1s1n - 'I just thought he was a really flamboyant straight man.'

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Pyongyang

At least they were being flogged and not fluffed I suppose. :pac:
