Big night of sport tonight, Wales v Oz third test, Ireland v NZ third test, then the big one, Spain v France, then to watch us get whooped by kilkenny in the hurling :(

I was watching the Greece/Germany match and left the room at 2-1 to Germany.
Came back in 4-1! I left and came back again 4-2!
Why Did I not do this during Ireland Games?

I have to babysit my grandmother while my grandpa ngoes to watch us reign supreme. We are all but cogs in the machine of Kilkenny's Brian Coady's supremacy!

I have a feeling Dublin will come closest to beating KK this year.

Lets hope so, but I dont think were as strong this year as we were last year. Tipp will surely be there or there abouts come the latter stages of the All Ireland, same for Galway id assume. I have a feeling kilkenny will cruise to victory, but I dont watch much hurling anymore and dont really follow it as much as id like so I might be wrong about that though.

Tipp are second best but they'll be beaten by KK again this year. I feel Dublin could catch KK cold tonight. Dotsy is a big name to be missing though.

Kilkenny do genuinely get worried when they come up against Tipp. I mean, the people on the street are always saying "Tipp could give it to us yet." Meaning, they think Tipp are hardy.

Sure they get worried but they beat them come Final time with one big exception. Could see JBM's Cork team pulling off a shock too.

KK obviously get us worried in Tipp as well, I'm always sick with nerves before we have a game with the cats. They're the measuring bar in hurling and if your not at the races even a team like Tipp could take a dreadful hammering against them.

Cork also concern me this year, I'm hoping the boys can get the job done tomorrow but it will be far from easy.

I could see this happening alrite but maybe not Dublin beating Kilkenny just cause I can't see last years winners and Tipp in the qualifiers.
60-0 to the All Blacks thats appalling no matter who you are.

So local u10 hurling team won a final today. so proud of these lads. They only lost two games so far this year

Jaysus Kilkenny murdered them two teams on a total different level of skill, ominous stuff. Haven't seen a Donkey Derby or been to Spancil Hill in a fair few years Ger.

France vs Spain. Not quite backs vs forwards more backs vs midfielders. France are playing 5 at the back by the look of it. YES! for the 3rd quarter final in a row we have one team wanting to play(or overplay in their case) and another not wanting the opposition to play.

This no striker formation needs to die by fire. It clearly doesn't work.

Two right backs and none of them can do the job. Spain should walk this now.

    Watch what Diabhal?
You must of been smoking something strong predicting the Dubs giving the Cats their best game this year...at least I hope that doesn't turn out to be true.

Spain-France. Saw the Xabi Alonso header/forehead. Not a smoker but there was nowhere to sit/stand inside and I had to wait on the girlfriend anyways while she brought her Yank friends over. They tried to convince me that despite growing up in the Gaeltacht that trad music was great.

Dublin were awful but don't be fooled by one bad showing in the rain against the greatest team to ever play any sport. They'll get to the semis IMO.

If they get Tipp in the qualifiers they won't. Not looking forward to our game in a fortnite, if we weren't so bad at the back I wouldn't be so worried.
France were a pure flop tonite they never really looked like scoring and showed very little heart.
Looks like England will try to stop Italy playing tomorrow in the same vein as the czechs, greeks and french.

one plus point for England in this regard is that unlike the French, England will actually be playing what I consider their natural game. They are not the creative flair filled side that the Spanish, Dutch (I know they are out and how) or even Germans and they know this. Neither are Thee Italians though so despite Hodgsons tactics England should still get time on the ball and they do have players who can create and score goals. This is why I fancy them to make the last 4 despite not being their biggest fan.

    Spain vs Portgual
    Germany vs England

some nice old rivalries there before Spain vs Germany in the final imo and thankfully I dont think Germany will alter their approach as much as others when playing the Spanish and that could actually make for a very interesting game. tbh so could the game vs Portugal as Nani/Ronaldo will always be threats and they have been defensively solid thus far.

Just saw this on a mates FB. Nice touch by Robbie.

    00060ffc-642.jpg

Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane returned to scoring form with Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday and paid tribute to the family of Irish soccer fan James Nolan when doing so.

Galaxy defeated Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0 and Keane scored in the 30th minute before collecting a Galaxy shirt from the subs bench which read “RIP James Nolan” on the back.

Another great MHC game. I thought Cork would snip it when Tipp went down to 14 men but the Limerick game gave Tipp great fettle today.
Waterford vs Tipp should be very interesting in a few weeks after what happened last year.

Anyone here move from Ireland to England?

Am I right in saying you can just move over? Can't find any other requirements outside of being a EU national.
