Had Spain to win, Over 2.5 goals and Torres to score a hatrick. Shame Torres came off when he did :(

I really don't care if Ireland wins or loses. I would of when the likes of niall quinn where playing

I feel sorry for the fans and supporters especially the ones over in Poland great show of support by them

That's it until 2016. Italy game means nothing for us now, may as well give Gibson, McClean, Walters etc the starts. We've already been humiliated by conceding seven in two games so what's the worst that can happen.

Pretty sure the majority of the fans went over for the craic and were realistically not expecting to get out of the group.

Feel sorry for the supporters who went out there to watch that. Rte on about bringing back Steven Ireland that says it all really. Dunne, Keane and Given all looked finished if i'm honest.

World Cup Brazil 2014? Think Ireland can give Sweden a decent challenge for second place.

Fingers crossed Estonia make the play offs again and Ibrahimovic retires.

I don't feel sorry for any of them. I know Ireland would of gone anywhere.

Nah, especially not if the likes of Dunne, Given, Duff, Keane and O'Shea decide to call it a day.

Germany will murder us and Sweden will probably be like Croatia. Think we have a chance but then get hammered anyway.

Trap needs to change his tactics. They got found out big time at the Euro's.

Someone didn't watch their game vs France which was easily one of the worst games of the tournament.

That's the bandwagoners gone for now at least. Until they pretend to know who Zlatan is.

"I tried to play with the striker, Cox, in midfield." - Trap.

Anyone think that was a good idea? Why not just start Gibson, you know, an actual midfielder!

Zlatan or as Brian Kerr would call him Zebrahimovic.

Nothing major we could have done in a tactical sense or in terms of selection. We were outclassed by one of the great teams. A shame, but to even be there was an achievement in itself. It's not all doom and gloom really. We're a good team, just not a great team and we're in a group with three great teams. The fans were superb.

Under Trap we have still failed to beat anyone ranked higher than us which I find to be the most worrying thing. Even when we hammered Estonia I thought we were useless. I wouldn't fault much of the players though we really are just not good enough to compete playing the way we do.

congrats gimmick and mrs gimmick to be

very disappointing display from us in the euros, i would like to see germany and croatia in the final now

roy keane really hammering down on the team and the fans, he really dont know when to shut the fcuk up

Keane is just a dickhead who likes to be the centre of attention. Really hope Croatia don't make the final they aren't a great football team and their tactics just seem to be hoof it in the box.

Sweden 2-3 England has to be the best game of the tournament so far. Had great craic watching it with a bunch of English and Swedish guys in town.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

I'm a total bandwagon jumper for this tournament. I knew Ireland wouldnt get out of the groups, i even predicted a 3-0 win to the spanish to the ire of some mates.

But anyway, That was a cracking 3rd goal for england, if goals like that happened more often i think i would watch more regularly.

    Glad your enjoying the games!

The Euro's would be like football's version of Summerslam (World Cup = Wrestlemania) so it's great that regardless of Ireland winning or losing, the whole country came together and put aside all the negative crap that's happening right now and just enjoying the tournament.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,469 ✭✭✭✭GTR63

Sickened now that the 2 games a day is over. Really enjoying the tournament, rte analysis has been gas craic to watch altogether. Its a pity we didn't do much and my favourite player is out of the tournament now but thats life and the GAA on the weekend will always be there.

    Euros >>>>>> World Cup IMO.

Euros is much more difficult to win than the world cup imo. Much better standard of teams than at the WC.

No scrub teams like chile and Australia ( >_> <_< )at the euros . Japan are a good team though.

Noticed this earlier, two teams have been eliminated from the Euro's thus far. Ireland and Sweden. They are in the same WC qualifying group. That must mean Germany are going out on Sunday :pac:
