Woah woah woah! The Dexter books are different from the series?? Christ ive got the first three sitting up in my room(got them for free) and never read them as i assumed they were the same as the TV series. Looks like i won't have to buy a new book after all. :D

    Edit: On Doakes
i thought the series suffered for a bit after he was killed off, it was better when Dexter always had someone questioning him and chipping away at him all the time
    .
The first book has the same basic storyline as Season One. There are differences but it isnt until the second book that it really goes in a different direction.

Make sure you have a free schedule, I read the first two in one weekend!

    Happy Birthday Jayk!
Whenever I say that I am always reminded of the time my Brother gave my older brother a card that said have one on me and didn't put any money in it.
Currently watching Curb your Enthusiasm wondering why they are making such a big deal of Richard Lewis.

Does Assassin's Creed get any better? It's pretty boring thus far and I'm struggling to maintain an interest.

I thought the first one was horribly repetitive and I haven't played any of the others.

First one is repetitive, boring and uninteresting.

Assassins Creed 2 is one of the best games I've ever played. Improves everything which was good about the first one, fixes everything that was wrong with the first one, then adds in a bunch of new stuff which is all pretty good too.

Its almost worth playing AC1 just for the story if you're planning on continuing with the series, but I suppose even just watching the ending on YouTube might be sufficient

Are many doing the FF? I had Dzagoev and Lewandowski so I'm pretty happy. I need the Dutch to do well tomorrow. I have a feeling Afellay could be one of the stars of the tournament.

I'm doing it. Bit of a disaster so far. Thought Akinfeev would start for Russia since he has been back playing since April but he didn't get the nod. Doubts of whether Lindegaard will play too and he is my sub keeper :(

Chug through it if you must but AC II is far better and more varied, didn't really care for the stopgaps Brotherhood and Revelations is still on my to do pile. Didi Hamann back for rte good always enjoyed his analysis.
    Happy Birthday Machismo!

Couldn't agree more theres a world of difference between the two games with 2 rectifying every flawed aspect that held the first game back. I was so disappointed with the original that I never finished but I easily slipped back into the story while playing the 2nd.

Holland have been real poor today particularly at the back. Heitinga has the defensive aptitude of a chicken nugget. If the danes win this they will be looking to beat Portugal like they did twice in qualifying for this.

Akinfeev is carrying a knee injury.

Germany won not a lot else you can say about the game that is positive. Jayk is gone fair quite today by his standards.

By this time tomorrow, I'll either have passed or failed my driving test :S

Did another mock the other day and failed again but only one red mark (a ****ing bike came out of nowhere and I nearly hit him) and 9 blues, most of which were for stupid things (forgot to indicate once, forgot a hand signal, etc). Fairly confident now.

Was wondering why you weren't mentioning it and I was too heartbroken to bring it the result in the thread

    Yeap.

I know if I'm going to fail, it will be when I'm trying to turn out of that bloody hotel car park as well. Always have trouble getting out :P
