Yeah! 5pm Microsoft and 2am Sony! Hopefully we get some awesome announcements and not more delays. Sad to hear Boob Raider is pushed back to next year

This was announced as the new controllers (standard and pro) for the wii U last night in japan to get nintendo fans excited for their slot tomorrow:

Looks incredibly like the 360 controller.

It does indeed but I think that's a good thing, the 360 controller is probably the best there's ever been imo.

My most recent set of viewing included (in a random order as I think of them): Person of Interest, The Mentalist, Bones, Harry's Law, Modern Family, The Middle, Happy Endings and New Girl (plus Dexter, Homeland etc which finished up a while ago). They all finished up last week for the summer (bar Harry's Law which got cancelled) so my summer viewing is now: Episodes (Which isnt even that great)

Episodes is a little overrated tbh. Their is so much better recent British comedy to be watching, Rev, Grandma's house, Fresh Meat and the criminally underrated Limmy's Show which is arguably one of the best sketch shows in decades.

Other stuff which is recent would be Justified which is only 3 seasons, Veep which started recently and Delocated an adultswim comedy which is very good.

It's usually one of the last things I watch every week but now I don't have much else. Not a great show, but Merc is hilarious and some of the girls are smoking. Could be worse :pac:

The Louis Theroux documentaries are also great viewing and you don't have to watch them in any particular order so no need to panic about seasons and airdates.

He did one on pro wrestling that I seen on dave or gold about a year ago. It was about 12 years ago i'd say cause he ended up in the Power Plant with Sarge....
Only problem I find with Louis Theroux is that I have no clue when they are on eg it was on last nite on rte two yet isn't on next sunday

His new one is on next Sunday actually and is about porn. It's a follow up to the one he did a few years ago.

I have all his stuff on dvd, well worth picking up and his book is really good too.

He seems to be doing that now, going back around to places and people that he has already been to. Like the westboros.
Hope he does a follow up on the wrestling one. Times have changed since he done that.

Louis Theroux's documentaries is so good I wonder how much of it is scripted, or tightly maneuvered. Like when he follows people there's some kind of story arc, or exposing hypocrisy, like a Nazi who turns out to have a mexican friend, or a straight porn actor who's gay-for-pay/miserable but defends it, a chaste girl who organises swingers' parties, then got into it, stopped and is now a lesbian...

Although I think Louis is quite inoffensive and charming, he seems exceptionally bright and does lead his interviewees down a path that directly opposes their views.

People let their guard down around him because all they see is a lanky awkward reserved British guy with glasses and forget how good he is at getting people to open up. I honestly think people forget he works for the BBC.

It was interesting that Michael Jackson's advisors didn't trust him to do a interview with him and instead went with Martin Bashir who tvey thought was harmless in comparison...:o:o

    Worked out well that one...

Good point. Also I believe most (if not all) of his interviews are with Americans and maybe it's just a perception but I always found Americans and Canadians to be a lot more open than Irish and British people, being more talkative and giving longer-winded answers.

Sometimes after someone answers one of Louis questions, Louis will stare at them kinda like waiting for them to talk more.

Done some with British celebs as well about ten years ago.

Need to rewatch them and so should everyone, the Saville one especially. Easy to find on Youtube as well.

Good luck! Can you speak German? Do you have a job waiting for you there?

As for wrestling, don't let it get in the way of your amazing new life but if you have withdrawal symptoms then full episodes of Raw and Impact are usually on YouTube.
Yeah I can speak German (not fluent but a lot of it). My girlfriend is German and we are moving there. Shes been living in Cork since a kid.

Just arrived here anyway and the weather is scorching :)

Yeah i'm working as a chef over here :) Cheers

Didn't think i'd see a more hugely underwhelming 90 minutes than Microsofts press conference today but congrats Trap and the lads.

Bilic has yet to see an impressive Irish performance live according to Ken Early. This means Trap was playing mind games.

good news for us is that Olic has pulled out of the Croat squad.

Yeay! I won a Photoshop comp over on the Cool Vids board. And with a picture I suggested :D

Fun fact; this is the forth week in a row my pictures have been selected for the Photoshop competition :P

I didn't rate Olic anyways. Srna for me has always been a player I seek out. Modric is known to all football fans as a genuine threat which we have no answer for IMO and then you have the ever clinical Jelavic.

And Eduardo Da Silva, they're not short of options up front.

So what did people make of the Game of Thrones season finale reminded me of the end of season 1 but this season didn't live up to its potential for me, nearly felt like a bit of a transitional series.
