Can you not free play LA Noire after the final case? I tried but it brings me back to the final sequence. My stats say I've done it already so it did save. Glad I got all the film reels, hidden cars etc before starting the last one instead of waiting until I was finished.

Afaik, If you go to the Cases section in the main menu, there is an option called "Streets of LA (Free Roam)". If you select this, you will be able to free roam, search for landmarks, etc. I think you have to complete a certain number of cases to unlock this though.

When will the Desperate Housewives fans come out of the closet?

It's quite sad that the character who died from cancer in the shows finale three weeks ago actually died of cancer in real life yesterday.

RIP Kathryn Joosten - Mrs McCluskey was the scene stealer on the show imo best with one liners and delivery

On what to watch, I've just finnished season 4 of Breaking Bad. Possibly the best episode of anything I've ever seen was the season 4 finale.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Continuum started the other day and it looks quite good. They covered a lot in the first episode though so I reckon it will either get really over the top (even more so than the whole time travel thing), or really short on material later on in the season. They could have gotten two and half, maybe three full episodes out of the one.

Watched the entire season of the Finder too and dont see why it was cancelled. It was a great show. A spin off from Bones which has been suffering in the last two seasons. This was better than Bones but was canned after one 13 episode season.

Going to stick on Breaking Bad now. Have the first two seasons so if I get into it, I can start to acquire the rest as I'm watching.

I love Supernatural so have been watching Grimm, I'd recommend it if you like Supernatural

Sons of Anarchy is one best shows on tv very underrated it's past season 4 one of the best ever

Almost lost me in Season 3, which was just... bad. No other word to describe it, and no going overboard. It was just really bad. Season 4 totally pulled me back in though, amazing season.

Season 3 finale was quality though, season 4 finale not so much it kind of fizzled out decent set up for season 5 though,I've seen every episode of Breaking Bad to date but I don't love it as much as everyone else seems to,that's not to say its bad though but I prefer SOA

Currently watching GOT and The Borgias watched every episode of the Sopranos last summer (finally) and really liked it,This year it's 24 and while it's a bit drawn out in parts it's still pretty gripping,in season 5 now

Nice to catch classic shows I missed on the old rte due to work, now I just get everything the day after it airs, much handier

One of my all time favourite series is Prison Break though and I know it got pretty crazy in parts but I loved it the first season was one of the best seasons of tv I've ever seen

Same boat as you so I'd recommend watching Breakout Kings. Made by the same producers as Prison Break and focuses on 3 convicts catching covicts to get reduced jail time. Show spoiler:
1 episode involves Fox River and T-Bag

I'm sure u lads have seen it but i just finished re-watching S1 of Sherlock with my fam, got them into it. Sublime, crisp writing. Sherlock's deductions are at an unapologetic pace!

Looking forward to S3 but it must be almost a year away.

Did anybody like Heroes? I've seen all of that too and while it wasn't great (too many easy ways out in the writing such as time travel and too many story arcs on the go at once) I would have liked to see it wrapped up better like Prison Break did with the specials

Hate when tv gets cancelled and they just drop everything especially when networks have more episodes made/written you may as well finish it out, if the ratings are **** (relatively) there's not a lot going to change trying to do something mid season

Really enjoyed Sherlock until Moriarty entered the fray, really thought he overplayed it and went all camp leprauchaun on it,Maybe just me (and my Dad) as he did win a BAFTA for the role

Aye, benedict cumberbatch is such a better Sherlock than Downey JR camping it up.

Weird thing is; in both series' of three episodes, the first episode has been the best, the second has been the worst and the third has been pretty good. Overall though, it's a great show. The first episode of series 2 is fantastic

Anyone watch Luther? Quite a surprisingly good show. First series was brilliant. Need to get round to watching the second series soon, hopefully the third series isn't too far away

Youd be better not, once season 2 starts you will be hooked! So i suppose it makes more sense to get a start now.

Each series does one up on the previous, it literally keeps stepping up a gear.

Eurosport, makes me think of the time a few years ago when they had New Japan iirc and the eurosport commentator said a shock treatment could rupture your spleen and kill you.
    Anyone looking forward to E3?

Good luck! Can you speak German? Do you have a job waiting for you there?

As for wrestling, don't let it get in the way of your amazing new life but if you have withdrawal symptoms then full episodes of Raw and Impact are usually on YouTube.
