Is it Heymans who has this funny record of winning loads of HEC medals but having played just like 30 mins in total (all 4 finals)?
Yup. Always a sub it seemed with him. Incredibly unlucky his time has coincided with the likes of Clerc and Poitrenaud.

Will Brad Thorn not be potentially setting records? Two world cups, a potential HC and potential Rabo.... He'd only be short the curry cup really!

Eh? I know he's been around for a while but I don't think he was playing in 1987! He did win a rake of stuff in rugby league though.

Did he not lift a League and Union World Cup?

I don't think so, but could be making a show of myself here.

No, he didn't win the League WC. Maybe he'll go back to league next year to win it!

Were these tickets you got from the lottery?
If so, how did you know what seats you got (did you pick them up)?

Got them a while ago, during the group stages I think. I live in London so I'd be going either way.

    What's that?

It's a fun character for kids. Like Barney. He sent my niece a cake for her birthday.

I have moved the match related posts to a new thread here as there is currently no match thread.

*side note 2pm on a Friday afternoon and there is not a single match thread for this weeks games. Has everyone given up on the Rabo?

And one of those games is an interprovincial... but meh, three provinces with nothing at stake, only Munster fighting over whether they get to play the Ospreys away or Leinster away, two of the three matches not on TV, Leinster sending the kids to Wales.

I'm sleepy even thinking about it

I just didn't create a thread because it wasn't going to be televised. I will be getting my rugby fix with all the other irish teams being televised. Also, the fourth place race is very important for us no?

Fitzgerald out for the rest of the season, neck surgery.

Damn, was really looking forward to seeing him in New Zealand. Hope he makes a good recovery and his contract situation is sorted out promptly. I'd rather Dave Kearney than McFadden to take his place for the remainder of the season personally. Even in his cameo last week McFadden looked very awkward on the wing.

Gutted for him, particularly the summer tour.

Mc fadden to wing and Kearney to the bench for the final .

Really a shame, but this is where the squad depth really comes into play. Being able to choose from back-up of McFadden, D Kearney, Carr and Conway in just 1 position means we can just about get away with certain injuries, although obviously not preferable.

Oh ffs. Luke getting all these niggly injuries just after hitting top form. 3 times in as many seasons!
