    Hi 07Lapierre,

    Quick question

I haven't received the actual club licence from Cycling Ireland yet, but i do have an email with the licence number from Cycling Ireland, just wondering if this is enough for me to take part tomorrow?

Latest forecast - hopefully the rain and wind will be dying down a bit by the time we race, but I guess it will still be a wet and windy course, with that new section heading straight into the forecast NEasterly. Temperature 7 degrees, Realfeel zero ...

... think I'll be bringing the old bike along tomorrow

Hope it goes ahead. I might feel differently if I was marshalling so I fully understand if it gets the chop.

I'm marshalling. Makes no odds to me really.

    It's brightening up already :D

Skerries is going to be a lot windier than Garristown. Anyway a bit of wind should help push my 80mm rims along ...

(still not risking the good bike though;))

Bleedin' wimps - was hoping only about 10 of us would turn up to share out the points.

I would have gone for a few KOMs on the way into work this morning if I'd known...

Think I'll go for a spin anyway. Free evenings are like hen's teeth so best to make the most of them.

Be careful its still pretty wild out theses parts,I would have went if it was on but it would not be a night for marshaling the right decision was make in fairness

Given we were all geared up for racing last night I think it's only fair that League points should be awarded on the basis of our performances today. It seems to me that the ideal way of measuring this is by reference to the number of Strava KOMs established on this morning's commutes ...;)

With the change in the finishing line, do we know if it will be 3.5 or 4.5 laps?

It depends on how many sign-on. If we get large numbers i imagine it will be 4.5 laps, but the decision will be made on Wednesday.

For you it's where it always was - the rest of us will continue until the straight leading up to the Balbriggan/Naul road, a km or so after the cricket club, before the T junction ...
