I can't afford a laugh i'm afraid Diabhal the only positive was that Sterling impressed me more in 12 minutes than Downing has all year, he can go lie down on a train track as far as i'm concerned. How far behind would Liverpool be if the teams around us were in form. What a Great week for Arsenal it has been judging by the game they had with each other this morning I can't see Spurs or Chelsea knicking 3rd from them.

Spurs will do it and we'll all look for the nearest gun. Remember how they were "everybody's fave team that could do no wrong" last time in the Champion's League? Imagine that + genuine title contenders next year.

Genine title contenders, Bah they weren't even that this year despite Sky ramming it down our throats. Just found out Milan are 1-0 down at half time vs Roma & Thiago Silva came off injured, what next?

I'm grateful for pw boards. Other sites are lawless and filled with American teens hurling abuse at you.

When a mod start trolling you, you know you're in bad company!

Ah it's not on boards at all. I forget that other places aren't as well-mannered and well-adjusted like us!

Love American tv & movies but as a conscious whole; can't stand 'em. Individual people can be really lovely though

What went wrong Diabhal. Juve vs Inter, nearly a waste watching it cause Inter are in such poor form & James Richardson isn't presenting pity that Chapman has about as much personality as a bowl of sand.

Just got off to a really bad start. Waterford were up for it from the first minute and relaxed more than they should have after scoring the goal.

Looks like I'll be getting to go to an Impact taping this summer. Just been told my stay at the Hard Rock Hotel on my summer holidays overlaps with an Impact taping....

It is estimated that around 300 of the UK's 609 GAME and Gamestation
outlets will cease trading immediately, reports MCV, with possibly more to follow if a buyer is not found soon. So far Gamestation in Enfield, GAME in Bath and Gamestation's flagship Birmingham New Street have reportedly closed their doors. GAME's website has also been taken offline this afternoon, with a message telling customers of the retailer's fate and stating that, "we hope to be back up and running very soon." If your local GAME or Gamestation has shut its doors today let us know in the comments below.

Always liked Game when I was in Dublin in Cork. They had the fun little accessories and collectables I couldnt get in Gamestop.

Go over to the Games forum now. I read earlier there that earlier they shut down all the shops in ireland & won't be accepting loyalty card discounts or vouchers.

Ranieri sacked at Inter & replaced with their u19's coach (Stramaccioni) who will probably have his career ruined by a team of washed up hacks who couldn't a sh*t.

Ye it was only for a couple of minutes though. It was done last night with Hector as always trying to sound like he knew what he was talking about. The guy who runs the training camp in Bray was also on.

    Anything interesting said?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 381 ✭✭The Showstopper

Not much just hyping the show in Dublin really. Sheamus saying he will be WHC by then. He also talked about his schedule. Oh and he said that the household tax was effecting him too and Hector said Sheamus should Brogue Kick Enda Kenny

Lads i have something serious to say (no, seriously :P) and would like to say it here.

Over the last few months i've been going through a lot and have had to face a lot of things i never thought or wanted to.
Basically last September my girlfriend was brought into hospital with a few problems, pains in her back, loss of apetite, stuff like that. After a few weeks and after a biopsy was conducted she was diagnosed with lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph glands.
My head was a mess and everything was a little bit crazy around us. I had a lot of well wishers and help from friends and family but whoever i met out and about would always, with the best intentions at heart, ask for an update which i would be very happily be asked but yet be torn apart having to give.

Why am I posting this? Well basically to say a thank you to the guys on this forum and the rest of boards who unknowingly gave me my respite from all the issues of the last few months. It might have been just a bit of banter about wrestling and all that goes with it to you guys, but for me it was a welcome escape and one that i'm very grateful of having. I was going to post about what was going on when it all came to a head but after i deactivated my facebook and pulled back on using twitter, i didnt want to be scared of coming onto boards and be greeted with the same questions as the ones I was nervous about answering on there.

    But, some good news;
Last thursday after 6 months of intensive chemotherapy my girlfriend finished her treatment. :)
She had a PET scan done at the beginning of the treatment and another one performed then 2 months in. That PET scan had come back 100% clear, which going from what they found in the initial one to that is a massive result and one which we didnt know the full extent of until last thursday. Which was excellent news.

I'm so happy that its over and that the treatment has worked that i'm literally telling everyone. It makes a welcome change from the convos ive had with some over the last 6 months!
So in a nutshell and i know it sounds really strange but thanks again for doing something you had no idea you guys were doing which ment so much. :)
