I managed to crack the elusive 30mpg mark on the way home from Portlaoise, 31.6 average.

You have to drive that little bit faster to get better mpg, bizzarely.

Same with my Octy. 124kph/103kph is more fuel efficient than 120/100.

    On the Jag??

I've tracked my mileage on the MR2 over the last 2 months: Averaging 30.68MPG on a mixed bag of Urban/Motorway

Yeah, on the jag. Mpg has drastically improved from when I bought it. Think it just needed a good hard drive.

It is better to do something, and regret it, than live to regret never having tried.

I talk ****e while sober and nobody ever complains.

In fact, trying to keep my cool and self-moderate had people wondering if I wasn't being angry enough.

Beer, exercise or some herbal sleeping tablets are what gets me asleep when I'm coming off nights

Yeh I usually find beer the best one myself prob with my job is yeh can do a 12 hour day shift on a Tuesday then be back in for a 12 hour night shift on the Wednesday so your sleeping and eating pattern does be all over the place :(.

Everyone enjoying a nice hangover today?

On the ferry home. Bloody wrecked after picking up the new car.

Two things to report: it needs tracking done and there is a small knock when I turn the wheel right.

It only started today but I can feel a slight kick back from it. I reckon it's a track rod end. Anyone any better ideas?
