Very important question, is Pokemon rumble on 3DS any good? what does it play like as it is €20 in Game and I might just buy it!

Anyone else finding the lassie in the American Apparel ads on Adverts distracting? Or is it just me?

It's alright, very "pick up and play for 20 minutes" lots of a button action. It's worth the 20 quid anyway.

He keeps disappearing while I'm playing it, stupid JNES. Gets difficult to make a jump that way.

Also I was playing after a few hours of drinking. My hand eye coordination was shot to ****. :o

hey, can you get a replacement shell case for an original gameboy? I cant seem to find one anywhere online, every other gameboy type seems to have loads of cases out there, but nothing for the original.

Keep an eye on ebay for fault models that are selling for next to nothing. A lot of the time the case is pretty nice and its just the screen that's fecked.
I've picked up a few that way.

Yeah I'd say the best bet would be to go for one that's fecked internally but has a nice case. Then put the yellowed case on the fecked gameboy and sell it for parts!

Good ideas thanks! Just was looking there online and came across this backlight thing for the gameboy, has anyone done this?

I've not done the back light mod but its fairly common I think.

You could always use a bit of retr0brite on that yellow case as well.

I was trying to find a battery cover for my Gameboy Light, now there's hard to find right there!
The casing on mine is a complete mess, they were made in a champagne gold colour and normally look great, mine, not so much. If a few marks and scrapes are a sign a console has been used and loved, my Gameboy Light has been used and loved A LOT!

You with your fancy GB light & extremly fancy AGS-101 while us peasants have to make do with mint condition GB's & GB Pockets.

Would love a GB Light but I refuse to pay loads of money for one.

I don't think I paid all that much, that may have had something to do with it's condition, it's perfectly playable and the screen only has the normal wear and tear but the casing has been through the wars.
And yes, I have put together a decent collection of Ninty handhelds over the years, I don't think I'm missing any, aside from not having a single Game&Watch.. must rectify that with one of the early, simple ones, the multi-screen stuff doesn't interest me at all.
The iQue, now I'd like one of them...

Good few iQue's on ebay at the moment for around 75 euro brand new.
Been thinking about grabbing one myself.

They're not too expensive although the price has risen in the past couple of years. Mine was something like €50 delivered, but it has some minor issues. It does have the battery cover though :P u mad ciderbro?

I've used it a good few times as well as some custom versions of the mix.
I even got a UV lamp for it. For your first go stick with the standard mix and try it on something not to valuable. Maybe a NES, you seem to have a few of them.

    Mr keith region killer :D

Hmm, make a cast and produce a new one is what I'm thinking...
Now, where do I find someone who can do those things...

Alternative to the GB Light is to stick a (biverted) back light into a GB Pocket. Screen would actually be better quality than the Light that way. The screen on mine looks nice anyway, except that it's neon pink...

Have a couple of backlit/prosound DMGs too, though mainly for use with Nanoloop and LSDJ. Games play well on them too

On the other hand, here are some things you could buy with $35,000:
    * A full-time intern to act out the entirety of Earthbound so you don't have to buy it

I'd do it for less than that
