Stan James ???? refusing to pay a bet out unless i go back to the shop i layed the bet in ??? which will be a 80 mile round trip for me

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Do they usually pay out in any shop?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5 imallin

I dont know but i do know its common practice for all other firms to pay in any shop . not a huge payout 600 , i got in contact with someone who said they would look into it for me and then i recived a voicemail on my phone saying that they would pay it in the other shop saturday and if i wanted it before then i had to go back to the orginal shop

I know Lads, Boyles and Paddy do, but I don't know if every other firm does it. Still, it's hardly a hard request you're asking for

I think its a joke to be honest how can a shop trade if they cant pay out 600 euro ??? I personally wont ever have a bet with Stan James again because of how rude the pig was in the shop but i would just warn people to be carful in there shops

When I woke up this morning I had a wonderful feeling that today was Tuesday and Cheltenham was starting, just for a split second.

It has effectively already ruined my day that it isn't

Did the PP guaranteed forecast double fav&2nd fav in the 5.10 Wincanton & 5.15 Clonmel @ 9/1 actual return was 8.25/1approx I've always avoided these specials as they rarely oblige.

Ballydoyle is meant to be hard to get into. What's Coolmore like?

Ah it was class. Got pics taken with Galileo. Saw all the stallions and Zoffany on the way down to cover some obliging lady. We spent about 2 hours walking around being talked through all the different stallions and their achievements on and off the track! Couldn't get over how calm they were. Pour Moi is now in Saddlers Wells old stable so has a lot to live upto. Yer man wouldn't answer me when I asked if Treasure Beach would be in there if he had've held on! Canford Cliffs also there at the moment. I could only describe it as a 5 star hotel for horses.

They had lunch laid on for us then after the tour which was a lovely touch. Didn't charge us a penny but we gave the lad who walked us around a few quid for his time. Couldn't fault a single bit of it.

Be interested to hear how you got into Ballydoyle fwiw. Supposed to be difficult alright.

The better half just sent a speculative email into Coolmore asking would they bring a crowd of us around. Simple as that. Don't think she expected it to be so easy!

No .How strange to see a group 1 entry having its first run on the heavy artificial that is lowly Southwell.By the way have a 5e on that Gosden horse for the Derby[I did hear].When in Coolmore check out Westener I have seen about five of them schooling and they are super. The next mega NH superstar from Coolmore. In case I forget put the 2yr old Shore Step in your notebook big time.A son of Footstepsinthesand with three white socks is a machine.

Great spot. Hadn't a cent on him but seems like an obvious winner when you think of it.
