I know, that's what I was saying in the post, who else to go to make up the other £200,000+ per week? Any truth that Goian is goin too?

STV understands Rangers players are currently going in to see the administrators one by one to learn their fate.

Charlie Mulgrew has praised Gregg Wylde for his unselfishness, saying he's known him since he was young and his sacrifice is no surprise

Players are apparently talking to the administrators one by one, regarding their fate.

edit: Can see Lafferty being one of them, what with him being injured and on +-15k/week.

Wylde - "I volunteered to walk with no redundancy package today to help the other people in the club who have families, like the kitchen staff.
"I offered to walk away yesterday and the club told me today that they would accept that offer.
"At the moment I have nowhere to go and I don't have another club.
"I don't know what is going to happen next but I thought it was important to play my part in saving Rangers."

Any chance Aluko could be one to go? We could do with some decent backup for Samaras now that Commons is off form :P.

Has there been any word on whether the guys let go would be given dispensation to join other clubs outside of the transfer window?

Wylde apparently is going to England to talk to three clubs, so I assume it's perfectly ok to join other teams now.

Also rumours that we might be in for him!

Yeha, I'm sure he'll prefer you over Blackpool :)

When I heard about the conveyor belt of talent spitting out players at Murray Park I never realised what it meant until now!

Its going to happen. The club needs to do what it can to save itself.

IMO the best move for the administrators would be to get the high earners off the wage bill now.

According to Chris McLaughlin, every player will required to apply to FIFA for special dispensation to join another club. Dispensation is likely to be given but "Last date to sign for Scottish club March 31"

While i can't exactly argue with that - it doesnt make my anger any less.

Especially since a few agents got a nice touch when they signed those long term contracts

    EDIT

Bartley leaves Murray Park with no decision made on his future.

Wouldn't blame you, from a Rangers point of view it's a massive failure that it's come to this. From a Celtic point of view It's interesting to say the least!

I remember thinking something wasn't right when Whittaker signed that contract in the summer. Five years on 20-25k a week? Money pissed away if he walks out.

As for Bartley what future does he have anyway? He should have been sent back to Arsene Wenger as soon as they went into administration. He can't even wind up players properly.

Apparantly Arsenal are paying the majority of Bartley's wages.

Just to go back on something said yesterday

The threat of 7 titles being declared null and void is a real possibility.

Davis signed a 5 year deal and McGregor signed a 6 year deal also. Really strange contracts to be handing out given the financial problems that were known back then

That has to be the reason, loaned players should be off the books first as a matter of principle though.

Even if you're only paying say 1k a week. Send him back and let a couple of ordinary workers keep their jobs.

It'd be tough going celebrating that :D

The administrators are talking to footballing staff at the moment they'll speak to Bartley and the rest after that :)

The administrators need to run the club as a going concern. That means having enough first team footballers to fulfill their fixtures and being competative enough to not put off a potential buyer. Loan players are very handy for that as they're cheap and presumably of a high enough standard to be competative.

You haven't seen Bartley play much then.

Also their season is over and they will be banned from Europe. What's the difference between 2nd and 3rd. Let a youth team player take his place.
