On breeding alone its by the post[real Coolmore stuff].By Flemensfirth will love plenty of cut in the ground. The one problem is the jockey he always looks unbalanced and hope its not a driving finish.Worth a bet anyway.

This was from the stable, their main worry was the jockey, but apparently the quickest horse Nolan has ever had

If their worried bout a jockey, why do they give them the ride in the 1st place?

Just got a text from a very good source. Master Milan will win next time out, owned by JP trained by J J O Neill. Cannot see him entered for Cheltenham dont know where he is going to run.

There has been at least 5 occasions now where you have tipped something up saying it "is going to win", and it hasn't. Cue you coming back on with an excuse as to why the horse didn't win. Just say you heard he has a good chance.

It would be very rare that a trainer will guarantee a horse to win anyway, although you seem to know somebody in every yard in England and Ireland.

I'm not talking about Bertie's Dream, which isn't really a tip he should be capable of winning today.

I am referring to Milo Milan.

Master Milan. Let's not get pedantic.

    Ultra Cool
    Gentlemen Duke
    Spinofacoin
    Barenger

Here is four horses you said will win and didn't. I had no interest in going back further.

I'm not sure why you think I am an alcoholic? Or what relevance that would even have to this discussion?

I'm simply suggesting you stop saying horses will win. You cannot guarantee anything and your track record of "certainties" proves that.

In fairness huntey he said Barenger about a week before he was due to run first time out and it won, and Spin of A Coin won a race or two after.

Barenger won Huntey first time he mentioned up and was more confident!
Im fairly sure spinofacoin ran well when he tipped him and has won since.

You could have an argument with a red brick Huntey!!

This thread, and the other have turned into a ****ing pisstake recently.

This whole forum is a joke. The recent disturbance is partly due to me pulling people up on bull**** posts, and plenty here don't like the fact that I have disturbed the status quo.

I mentioned that there is a lack of clued up people on here last week and I am suddenly a Mr.know-it-all. I don't know it all but if somebody is spouting shíte then they need to be told that. If I am spouting crap then I want someone to pull me up on it, and have no problem admitting it in hindsight if that is the case.

I will usually deliver my opinion with a well thought out reason, something which many people on here don't. When I question this they don't like it and resort to childish remarks and suggest I am just being arrogant.

It was probably more peaceful when I wasn't scrutinising posts and it will resort to the old "pally pally lets lose our money together" method, but that doesn't do anything to improve the level of discussion on here which is already lacking.

    As per first post:
31 October 2011: Edited to add that seeing as the thread is being dragged way off topic and that some people aren't including a reason behind their tip, posts which do not conform to the guidelines will be deleted and users infracted. Those who continue to disregard the guidelines, or who insult other users or drag the thread off topic will be banned. If anyone has any problems with a post/users, please report the post rather than taking matters into your own hands.

Remember, this is a thread for everyone, serious punters as well as those who just throw on a few quid for fun, so all are welcome to post in the thread, and nobody will be berated if their selection doesn't win!

    So...

Please keep this thread for what it's intended to be - a tips thread. There is an 'off topic' thread for any other comments, and from now on any posts which don't belong in this thread will be moved there. Anyone who persistently drags this thread off topic will be infracted and/or banned.

Won in the Dark 2.00 punchestown today Inconsistent but talented hurdler who made the frame in the World Hurdle behind Big Bucks. Badly out of sorts when last seen in the summer, going as if amiss on final 2 starts, and bit to prove now.The big bucks form alone is inviting but i feel the favourite wont perform

Just out of interest do many people here follow Hugh Taylor on attheraces? He is a great person to follow for horses, he gives out a few tips each day and has a full writeup on why he is selecting them. Has a pretty decent strike rate as well.

He tipped Oscar Charlie at Lingfield today and it won @ 3/1.

His 2nd today is Aaman @ the 3.40 @ Southwell.

    Here is the link
