This thread is for information resources found online that you want to share.

Home-made Ultracapacitors. Not really survival stuff but if the economic meltdown arrives you probably cant afford to be replacing batteries every few years. They don't hold as much energy as lead acid batteries but last much longer

I know a Google search will bring up a lot of sites, but if you use StumbleUpon and choose Survivalist as an interest, you will get lots of great sites and posts on others.
In the majority it is American results, but just click the stumble button and you'll move on.

Has plenty of videos from water collection to bee keeping to building a Faraday Cage.
The Faraday cage one is something I've been interested in for a while as I have a lot of electronics I would love to keep protected. I know the likelihood of an EMP going off here is extremely remote, but given how baisc and cheap the setup he shows is for a full cabinet, it's no harm looking into it.

If in a pinch for AA batteries and all you have is AAA, this will allow you to use them. Although plenty of readers are suggesting against any prolonged use.
