Just searched for Annette Hardiman on facebook and have 4 mutual friends in common... I have no idea what's going on.

    I know Annette kinda! :P

That long walk across the living bridge is bound to wake you up a bit :P

I'm assuming that's over the living bridge... In first year i had a tutorial in the Health Sciences Building at 9am... after two weeks, the lecturer decided to move it because no one was showing up.... On the upside, you'll be able to listen to a lot of music on your iPod during those long walks. :P

Just be glad the government haven't gone ahead with the plan to fix the time with France, or you'd be walking in the pitch black until about March. :pac:

That lecture will be torturous. It was bad enough that it was on a Friday morning in the last semester, but to put it over there is taking the piss!

17 out of 21 hours in the SR (not even gonna try it now )so not too bad a walk threw milford school each morning.

but the 2, 3 hour labs and a 2 hour lab on a wednesday will kill me :( 6 hours without a break is horrible, also 6 lectures on a friday till 5, my bus leaves at 4 so i may be missing a few:rolleyes:

Will have to go back a little earlier,
Less hours than before, thus far, but they are ALL OVER CAMPUS!
    Have 2 across Living Bridge,
Hoping to lose them as don't have Bio module this year but doubled!
    Two new buildings too,
Schrodinger Building and Irish World Acad Building...
7 different buildings with a mere 17 hours... So far...
    Tutorials and whatnot added on...
Only seem to be doing 3 modules as well,
    Must look into that...
If I get through the results :/
    Onwards and upwards!

I've two new buildings added... Schrodinger and Engineering research... going exploring next week as I've never set foot inside these two. :P

Don't know where the door is for them,
I think the Irish World Acad one is at the front and easy to find,
    The other, God knows... :P
I've the three lectures on the third floor of Main Building (aka 5th floor :/)
Have to set off 5 minutes earlier to give myself time to recuperate at the top of them :P
Have Health Science Building 5-6 Monday, then walk home...
I'll sleep every Monday night til June now :P
Have 4 hours break between 10 and 6 Monday so I'll investigate then,
    No new buildings Monday :)

Would it be difficult to change a tutorial on friday, 4-5? Last bus home leaves at 5. :(

Shouldn't be too hard :) I have to do the same thing..Stupid English.
As long as there is another tutorial you can go to you'll be fine!

They usually end up cancelling those tutorials because nobody goes.

Some lecturers enforce a "Go to the tutorial you're timetabled for!" rule, but of the 20 or so odd lecturers I've had, only one has done this. You should be fine, just go to one of the ones earlier in the week. Most don't care as long as you attend one of them. And as highlydebased says, most lecturers cancel anything after 4 on friday, they hate them as much as we do! :pac:

Sadly academic literacies is one of the modules that enforce the "go to the one you're assigned". My tutorial person didn't seem to give a **** if 1 person did a majority of a group project kind of thing. And now I have it from 5-6 on a Friday!!!! WHAT? The last bus home is at 4.30, I didn't go home that often, but I liked to have the option.

(actually have an English tutorial from 4-5 anyway. so i'd have to move 2 tutorials to be able to go home)

I had an AW tutor who was the exact same last semester..Pain in the ass..I did ALL the work for my group project so I best get a damn good grade.. -.-
I have an english tutorial from 4-5 which I'm gonna change and if they dont let me then I'll have to force a change but usually the english tutors are pretty easy going on this stuff :) So i heard...

same happened with me and AW last semester. was very annoying. would have done the project weeks earlier if I hadn't wasted so much time trying to get everyone else to participate.

I would like to move my English tutorial, but if its not Caroline mcGuiness or the other sweaty guy I might stay in it.
Caroline was actually lovely last semester, but she focused so much on women and feminism and all that other stuff in the awakening. She also didn't allow any talking and would call you on it, embarrassing you in front of the whole class!!!
Basically. Like the rest of the females in English, I want Dr Coughlan as a tutor. Do tutors stay the same for a year or change by semester?

I know it's definitely Caroline this semester but I think we have a new dude as well. I'm quite interested to see what he's like. I'm scared of having Jason King for a tutorial though :/:(
Oh yeah, Caroline is so nice but all the feminism drove me crazy haha :L
Tutors usually change, I heard. You may be lucky to get the same one in a row but it's not likely :/
    Fingers crossed!
When are your english tutorials? :)

Academic Literacies, what a pain! I hated the stuff. Just do the work though, seriously its not worth repeating. That was my motivation for doing well in it.

He is such a gent. Wait till you have him for 2nd year english...

Depends on the tutors- if the same person runs the module and the same people are involved in it then it generally stays the same. Obviously the postgrad tutors will change.

While some of my classmates are totally in-love with him, I just think he's lovely. He was incharge of most 1st year lectures last semesters :D
He had the matrix on the English course lolol.

He doesn't do restoration literature which is what you're probably doing.
