i'm not to sure why you would need solid works the mechanical engineering course only uses Pro E Creo which you can use in Amo 61

solidworks is used in the top floor of the Schroedinger building.

some people ave a preference for modeling software, the same way people choose chrome/firefox/ie.

especially since CAD became part of the LC tech drawing course, solidworks is the preference for me anyway.
i think its just simpler than Pro/e or autoCAD.

O/T mayolad, did you do advanced cad this year?

Apologies for swaying off topic but feel it has earned its place.
Computer Science, essentially, Microsoft Office writing/ constructing science extracts and the likes...
More than proficient with Microsoft Office I thought fine, this should bring my QCA up anyway, but an A/B
    First test was fine, Word.
Should have been really as I'd been using it massively in the last few years.
Excel I got docked 60% of overall mark as I never done it their way.
Powerpoint 90% of the class ran out of time.
Those who never were sitting at the back and continuing until he came to them to put their file on his USB stick.
The last exam we were left to do whatever we wanted, throwing together what we had learnt from previous 3.
I did, and not afraid to say I did a very good job at it,
But we never got specific instructions or a marking scheme to follow,
So I worked away on my own.
Got result back then saying the reason majority of the class got such low marks was because they never done what we wanted them to do...
I can only email him so much before he stops replying...
I'm usually very polite with my emails,
And my first one to him will be no exception,
Straight to the point, marking scheme.
His reply will influence how I will construct my next email...
Fukcing hate it when I'm not given the breakdown of my marks, or at the very least, instructions on what to do!
There's vague then there's stabbing in the dark...
I'm going to watch a DVD or something now to calm me down,
Shouldn't let college interfere with my Christmas Holidays...
    Tis the season... :)

Here you go. Just log into your student portal and then click the link. We use it for the woodwork teaching course. Enjoy.

    F*ck those f*cking keycards!!!!!!!!!!!! :(:(

Brother pulls into Dromroe, I carry out a few things to the car. Open the door to the block, walk upstairs, BAM! Card stops working. Reception not open(pain in the balls... usually they're open at 5pm on a Friday *sad panda*) had to wait 25 minutes for security to show up, when he came, he had about 10 cards in an envelope, one of which opened the block door, but wouldn't open the apartment door, so cue another 5 minutes of trying random cards... and when I finally get in, and he leaves, I find out he handed me one of the cards from the envelope that didn't work! So I had to leave my room door unlocked and had to leave my xbox over christmas because I couldn't get back in a third time!

    tl;dr -> I WANT PROPER KEYS! :(

As of today, everywhere should be open for business on campus.

Was running for the bus today (13:45) at the stop outside the Lonsdale car park. Bus was pulling out and I was just barely able to knock at the window.

Fair enough the driver didn't see me, but this dozy one was looking out the window with her mouth open. Had she any inclination to say to the driver that I was outside? No, far from it!

It should... as far as I'm aware all buildings on campus are open again from today. That should include CSIS and Venus. (they might be on shorter than normal hours though, not sure)

I'd assume so. But like wnolan1992 said, there's probably shorter opening hours. Just bear that in mind.

What is the relationship between the COOP Office and picking modules?

System down probably due to ITD
