It's a pity the 400 every weekend aren't playing on affiliated sites.
It's also a pity that instead of hassling the likes of htra and fingal the authorities aren't out giving the "pallet and sandbag" brigade grief.

Well the good news is that Bren in Fingal has got his letter of authorisation and they're back open from 930 on Saturday. 100% in compliance with the CJA .

There are some retailers in the country at the moment with some product at excellent prices (Hobbyairsoft with the Stoner 63A/Mk23 Mod0) sub €500 springs to mind).

Obviously, and as Puding has already said, the retailers need to cater for the buyer, hence the mass of generic M4 and AK with incorrect or no trades, since they don't care or don't mind, in comparison to the milsimmer or collector. That is a fact of business.

The retailers understand that they operate in an uncertain time, where discretionary income has been slashed by the vast majority, therefore they must cater to the punters wrt the products they want. That means cheap and decent quality.

When it comes down to it, if there is product I want at a reasonable price, I'll buy it from an Irish retailer. If not, I'll go further afield.

    **************End personal opinion**************

I'm not going to comment on any criticisms of the IAA, but the AGM is going ahead at the end of the month as notified. So any fully paid up members (as laid out in the constitution) are welcome to attend and air their grievances about the performance of the 2011 committee.

Generally RS military AK's will have little or no trades on them(unless imported into a country like the US where calibre marking and such are obliged legally to be stamped into the gun)

A lot of cheap AEGs have nasty white etched trades or decals -- I've seen AKs with big ASG logos stamped in them and little drawings of mr. kalashnikov on them. Nasty.

But very easy to remove - much better than badly stamped or etched markings Imho.

if you can completely ignore, wrong covers wrong finish wrong receivers and wrong gas blocks in most cases, most people interested in that area are going to stay away from cybergun

other people do not care or do not worry but their are a lot of people who want all these things right, if your going to be a replica we want the most accurate replica over just another marker
